Re: Pathankot AirForce base under attack
Cannot blame the NSA here. He has done his job well. Stationing the NSG and Garuds immediately after receiving intelligence inputs and before attack began is itself a great improvement from what we have seen earlier. Undoubtedly, many lives were saved because of this decision. Its just that vermin t...

Upgraded Arjun Mark-II tanks undergoing trial at Pokhran
What?
A major modification involves equipping the new version of the tank with missile firing capability. The DRDO aims at firing missiles accurately up to a range of 2,000 km.

Re: Mass Rapid Transit in India
Bangalore Metro's MD - Pradeep Singh Kharola and his team are all pathological liars. Time and again, they've lied about when different reaches of the system will open up and have come up with flimsy excuses for not doing so. Now even the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety has called him out. BMR...

You have a point here. This requirement too must be met, if not already done, by the time ISRO attempts manned space missions.
For now, I am happy that the first indigenous processor has been put to use.

Best news I have heard in recent times. Thx JTull Ji. I think 180 nm node must be sufficient to fulfill ISRO's and DRDO's processor requirements. One more tech denial attempt made irrelevant, after cryo-tech.

Re: India and UN: better off out or in
I think we should let some of our ethnic states seek UN membership. None of them are going to ally with Pakistan or China, but it will allow them to gain more visibility and serve as a pressure relief valve. For example, Thackerays, Lalu and Jayalalitha can spread Marathi, Bhojpuri and Tamil in New...

Delhi Metro is partly to blame for the woes of Bangalore Metro. DMRC was fully pre-occupied with the CWG games and did an improper DPR for Bangalore Metro.
