Re: Mobile Missile / Launcher Discussion

Let's not do foolish comparisons to Russia or Tibet... we all know India is much more densely populated and as an open society, much more susceptible to HUMINT flows to the enemy. Let's also be sensible and realize that missiles with enough range to hit the populated parts of China will be in the No...

You ask 'I wonder who the ENglish language biased media work for'.

No need to wonder. India is a very corrupt country. And the Middle East has lots of oil money. Put two and two together.

The enemies of India have bought all English language media. Period.

Re: Infrastructure News & Discussion

DMRC passenger traffic will vastly increase once the Phase 2 is done. The reason is not just the extra route length, but the connectivity between crucial and/or untapped areas. Currently, the traffic is ~900,000 passengers/day, or about 330M pax/year. I would not be surprised if this increases 3-5x...

So Toronto's 70 km will be served by 700 coaches, while Delhi's 190km will have 880. Each Delhi coach can carry approx 400 passen...

Actually, SSRoy, our GSLV will not put anything like 10t into GTO. GSLV Mk2 next year will hoist 2-2.5t into GTO, GSLV Mk3 in 2010 will hoist 4 or 4.4 tonnes.

4 tonnes will put us equal to Japan and China today, but well behind US, Russia, and Ariane.

We have a ways to go with launchers.
