Re: Indian Military Aviation
Couldn't stop the nitpick...but the incident in March 2006 can't be 'again' after 2008 or 2009 incidents.
Nevertheless, it's sad to see the team disbanded and not see the tricolor in the sky for some time.

Re: Pakistan Army List of Killed and its Revelations.
The website allows you to filter on keywords (say, suicide attack) and if you do that its seems that most of these soldiers were killed in suicide attacks (I infer carried out by the Taliban) in Pakistan. Maybe this soldier was brought to Delhi for medical treatment and not part of a suicide attack ...

Re: Are We Ready for a Two-front War ?
Let's not forget the PLA Navy. With a base in Gwadar they can blockade oil supplies from the Gulf and even threaten our western coast. So while the IA will have to deal with I guess the Chengdu and Lanzhou military regions that border us, the navy too will have its hands full.

Re: Armoured Vehicles Discussion Thread
This is great news! Kudos to the Arjun team for developing a remarkable product!! If the Arjun is so much better than the T-Series, shouldn't we then build appropriate logistics to support our best product? Can't the Arjun BLT handle the weight? The thinking here seems to be existing logistics ---->...

Re: Armoured Vehicles Discussion Thread
One can take the points made in this debate in two ways - 1. Neither the T-90 nor the Arjun are perfect. There is plenty of reason to worry as has been stated  OR 2. The T-XX and Arjun have unique capabilities and strengths. Hopefully the IA and DRDO/Avadi can realize this, put their heads toge...

Re: 26/11/2008: Never Forget. Never Forgive
I saw 'Terror in Mumbai' yesterday. The scenes at VT, recounts by survivors and the cell phone calls with the controllers in TSP made me sad, angry, frustrated ... We know what needs to be done within the country (e.g., building capabilities, improving reaction times of paramilitary and medical pers...
