Looks good, TARP was an overwhelming success. Props to the Bush administration for pushing that through. Personally I would have preferred if they had liquidated some of the banks, but this is ok too.

Re: The Epicenters of Terrorism: Pakistan & Saudi Arabia
Good writeup. Saudi Arabia has been following a policy of stealth imperialism in the last 40 years, rolling back local versions of Islam and financing their own pet version - the cause of Pakistan's new fascination with being Arap instead of Turkish or Persian as Pullikeshi noted above. Now many arg...

What is amazing though is that a man with pretty much no technical skills or developed any particular product to sell has built up one of the world's largest business empires.

With all the problems the UN has, how would India be better off if it were to leave the UN? I don't see how it would serve any Indian interests.

Why does the LCA engine affect the MRCA? The MRCA is a big order in itself, so I think we would feel the effects of economies of scale even if we selected different engines right?

Timing is pretty much impossible to do, the only strategy proven to work is long term fundamental value oriented investing. With that view you will be comparatively safer in both bubbles and sharp drops.

You have to go back to shiv's point - in this area the US is weak and has no choice apart from appeasing the TSPA. India does not need to "reduce" or "increase" anything. That has to be decided by the market rather than any kind of strategic planning. With that said, India is not really optimized for farming unlike the US so in the future, agriculture will certainly decrease. India's main ass...

The MKI's canopy hump is higher, and I think the main difference is the plane the fuselage and wings are in seems to be slightly tilted upwards, while the nose pointing down is more distinct. Overall the MKI is more "wavy" while the Mig looks "flatter".

I've been looking through this thread. Any information on clinical tests that show GMO food is harmful?
I don't think the government should be promoting any particular seeds. Rather I wish they'd run a few tests on this to make the information public.
