sukhoi 30's are costing $90 million...with the payload capacity of rafale and price aprox. $95 million We'll be able to make rafale carry Brahmos as well...secondly the 126 deal with missiles it fits in $12 billion budget...

Strictly speeaking reverse engineering is illlegal , ofcourse you can always take the risk and try to reverse engineer a product you may succeed , fail or succeed partially , eventually the OEM would come to know that you are using reverse engineer product and are not paying lic fee for it and you ...

Only problem is cost, but that is long term issue...I mean we'll take 18 fighter out of shelf i.e. $1.71 billion or around $2 billion with armaments...meanwhile in supply of these 18 we'll be sett...

But I don't know why many here are considering $20 Bln is for the MMRCA. It makes the planes 194 Million a piece. Even 12 Billion is an overkill as the price of Rafale is assumed to be around 70 Million Max sometime back. Compare that with Mig35 at around 40 Million a piece but it is a past matter....

Buy 60 Rafales plus UAE and Qatari Mirage 2000s! or MiG-35s. I am afraid that if the Gripen is bought, the LCA will get the boot. This deal is of 614,360,250,000.00 INR for 126 unit $95m/rafale @1.00 USD=51.3250 INR today...excluding armament... Issue is not exactly rupee only depreciating...its also about money drying up or evaporating as non-existent... But hopefully all my fears are rookie fears only...I wonder where China ...
