Re: LCA News and Discussions
Remote Ejection Trigger... Hi all, I had a small query: Does the LCA have some form of remote trigger to the activate the ejection mechanism? I mean to ask this from the point of view of the upcoming Wake Separation tests etc when the LCA will be deliberately put into situations where it be expected...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
Second submarine line for Mazagon Dock Hi all, just a simple Question... By having all our sub-building capabilities in a single area (except perhaps HSL/Vizag), are we not placing our war-fighting capabilities at risk...in the sense that to stop any sub-repairs/manufacture all the enemy has to do ...

that would be the Me-262 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_262 . and it was not the perfect plane by far, but yes its early induction might have had an impact on the war. then again, you could look at the history of the Me-109, and how the Spitfire evolved through the war ... I wonder wh...

Program management in DRDO
Just going through the many posts regarding the LCA's development, I would request the "gurus" to help me with the following: - it appears that one of the problems with the program have been bad project management. - i bring this up by drawing parallels to the way in which projects are exe...

Guys, any idea as to what the ESM system on the 1241RE's mast may be called? These craft were fitted with an Ajanta P? ESM until this baby showed up. Click the link below to see picture. http://www.bharat-rakshak.com/NAVY/Galleries/News/Events/Presidents+Day+at+Sea/viraat01+081.jpg.html Hey, can an...

Re: C-17s for the IAF?
At least in one video here, the C-17 is supposed to be taking off from a rough air-strip. http://www.bush-planes.com/Boeing-C-17-and-Ilyushin-Il-76.html I too feel that if we have qualitative (meaning numbers) arguments to support our arguments then one should present these here, I find it quite chi...

Re: Armoured Vehicles Discussion Thread
No one organization is faulty , if there is fault its a systematic failure ....so fault starts from DGMF and goes straight up towards CCSA and every thing that comes in between. Its a systematic failure not an individual or a specific organisation failure. I guess that facts that if the IA had not ...

Re: LCA news and discussion
+ 5 years delay is normal for our so called indigenous projects. This revised date of 2018 is really sickening. What were they doing when they wasted 2 years for selecting appropriate engine for MK II? They are not not even done yet with engine selection. Assume next 3-4 years to finalize the engin...
