Just finished my first 5K race in 35:12. Course was pretty flat throughout, which is typical of the area. Since company is self insured, they do a lot of preventive maintenance activities such as health camps, BP checks. This 5K was one such event. For $10, got to compete again after around 15 years...

Did my first road 5K after I don't know how many years. Managed it in roughly 40 mins. most importantly, shins are almost completely rehabbed. My foot still hurts, but thats to be expected I guess for the next few weeks. Company is sponsoring a 5K on 5-Apr. I am hoping to get under 30 minutes.
