It's heartening to see PSUs coming up with multiple desi designs i.e. Kalantak/excalibur (5.56X45), MSMC ( 5.56X30), Trichy assault rifle (7.62X39) and future modular assault rifle aka F-INSAS rifle. RE Shiv 9mm is practically effective only till 25-50m and not 200m. Ask any infantry guy and he wil tell you that the bullet is heavy and slow, starts falling/curving after 20-30m only.
