From the Group photo, I count 7 'Test pilots' (old eyes could be decieved easily). It is interesting to see so many for this exhibition. Looks like IAF may be slowing toeing the line and committing more TPs to the Tejas sqdr.

btw they did try attacking a police station in dina nagar ps attack. Can't say for sure if that indeed was their target. All they got for that was even the ps peon firing a few bullets their way. Shiv, you keep bringing terrain, jungle, hide and seek etc. Isn't India considered one of the best in the jungle and mountain warfare? Would the combing operation require scanning every inch by human eyes? Don't we use Perimeter Surveillance Radar? India is supposed to have 1400 of BEL Battle Field...

Hindsight is always 20/20. Had the op been given to Army... things may have been diff, good diff or bad diff. The decisions taken did not seem wrong at the time when they were taken. 2 More.... these guys have turned our air base into a pig sty... :( Ideally Night would be great for recon with IR sensors. Am sure the pigs know how to mask their heat sig to hide. Seem well trained to do all this. There was not too much in the way of words before the border crossing into Myanmar.....

The inlet has not changed. There is an extra fairing for the MLG to retract into. The Models on display at the DRDO also showed significant "swelling" just behind the inlet opening. It could be just the Fairing to accomodate the heavier LG but it surely "looks" more than that. I...
