Re: West Asia News and Discussions

Turkey's prime minister confirmed that a "ban" had been implemented following the 31 May raid, in which nine Turkish citizens on the flotilla were killed. Military flight bans are now being considered on a case-by-case basis, Turkish officials said. A new Flotilla is now gathering in the ...

Re: Small Arms Thread

ok - my mental idea was: single shot - 1 shot (IA FN_FAL had this and nothing else?) semi auto - 3 or 4 shots for every sustained pull of trigger (INSAS has the single shot mode and this mode - if u call it that..maybe "3 shot mode" is a better name?) full auto - keep the trigger pressed ...

I never cleaned it, just pulled through the barrel on the shooting range and gave the mechanism a tiny bit of thin oil periodically....

This site boils....

Anybody here collect diecast models? I have the Corgi MIG-21 in Indian colours. Do you know about an...

Re: Newbie Corner & Military Miscellaneous

^^The Kriegsmarine was massively outnumbered by the Royal Navy. Event if the Luftwaffe had achieved complete air superiority over the channel, it would have been next to impossible for the Germans to land an invasion force without suffering unacceptable losses due to RN ships. Re: Newbie Corner & Military Miscellaneous

I see there an emphasis on local politics and subjects. That is interesting. Hope you shall not find my future quest...
