Karan, these traditions are typically evolutionary in nature, i.e. incremental. As these units get more accolades with newer post-Independence actions, it will get added to their "rich" & "long" history from their POV - they have continued to maintain their marital traditions...

There is really no point in adding another submarine building line, it just won't be sustainable. Its best to go for additional Scorpions and a couple of Kilos(rather than Amurs) from Russia if it is absolutely required. IIRC, aren't the Amurs a modified version of the Kilos?
