Re: Delhi Rape Victim Dies-Express your outrage.
I just wrote to the three chiefs of the armed forces of India: The government of India has become the most tyrannical and unwitting regime in the recent times. The nation that produces the most number of the brightest engineers, PhDs, and physicians in the world every year, has somehow failed to und...

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!
Why don't people get it - this is coming straight from the Brits who were vomiting all over when they found out about the Rafale's victory as L1. I had written and predicted in my last post that this was going to happen.

Re: Raffy wins - Go Katrina!
While Brits are saying "Do everything to get the deal back" I hope we get ready ASAP to deal with an act of highly sophisticated espionage aimed at killing the Rafale deal. I think it's a matter of time if not already underway in some sort of a way. I pray that it is unsuccessful.

Re: Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc
Though it is not related to this thread.. I just wanted to point out that no Puki was involved in the operation. It was done only by a team of elite navy SEALs. It makes me think that the Puki radars and defense network was blind folded by the US. It could've been done in a numerous ways - Switching...

Re: India selects Typhoon and Rafale for MMRCA shortlist
All in all, Antony has showed a great amount of willingness to fight vested interests so far – he first insisted on conducting 1:1 between MBTs Arjuns and T-90s in order to kill the growing media hype about Indian Army’s dissatisfaction about Arjun. And now his insisting for sticking with idea of se...

Re: China Military Watch
A good one Acharya! There's a little doubt that the Chinese are probably the only country which can pose (even a little) threat to the US. However, as far as US goes, headlines that we often read about US taking notice of China's ICBM build up is nothing more than an act of certain US interests (def...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion
We must learn from China - what kind of tone to use when others try arming Taiwan. Our girlish babus just don't say anything to the US or to the Ruskies when the likes of pukies and lizards are armed. China is threatening to sanction companies (Boeing and Raytheon) involved in this sale. Boeing has ...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion
Our sober UPA government must speak up and ask US to stop arming Munna immediately OR unkil won't be allowed to enter into the Indian defense market. It's just simply beyond me why are we so lured into the P8i or the HC130 etc.. There should be a clause in every RFP - country who wants to participat...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion
It is well known that Syria had russian radars and AA batteries in place at the time of the Israeli air attack. Besides, Syrian radar site(s) was struck with a combination of electronic attack and precision bombs to allow the Israeli force to enter and exit Syrian airspace unobserved. After the inci...

Re: Vote for the MRCA
Looking at the size of this acquisition and the stakes involved, the contract must go to a couple of vendors rather than just a single vendor. Also, the number of the MRCA aircrafts should be increased to at least 150+. All geo-political situations suggest that UPA government is all set to award thi...

Re: ABM/Missile Defense Discussion
We need a layered ABM/AA system in place. Merely using our own ABM system or using merely the imported system (PAC3, Arrow, S400) won't work. These system should work coherently and in conjunction with other systems. These systems have different ranges and their purpose and weaknesses also vary. If ...

While the suggested scenario is impossible, if something even close of this sort happens, US WILL responds with hundreds of deadly nukes (SLBMs, SLCMs) with deadly accuracy and WILL destroy ...

US does a good job of fear-mongering about rivals to keep the defmil complex well fed and equipped with rolling gold plated programs. a few dozen ballistic missiles lobbed in the general direction of carrier will make USN turn tail and run off with tail between its legs? bwahaha  what do y...

I hope this air launched version of Brhamos is scalable & of course light enough so that it can carried by most of the current and future platforms i.e. MKIs, MIG-29s/MIG-29Ks, MIG-27s, Mirages, New Boeing P8is, Tu's and IL's and by also all Tejas variants. Range could still be a little problem ...

There is no way US will get the MRCA deal. The govt will fall if GOI is stupid enough to sign MRCA deal with Boeing or LM. I have doubts about P-8 and C-130 also. If NDA comes to power then the deals may be renegotiated or given to europeans. If god forbid third front comes to power all th deal wit...
