Another thing of note though is that the Los Alamos is in New Mexico so the UNM thing might be to go there eventually. Anyway, how are you so sure that it was the US that approached him and not the Indian armed forces? He doesn't indicate it anywhere, and the army hat in the video is the Indian Army...

No. What the report says is that no Prithvis will be used with the GreenPine. And the Minister is correct. Why would you want a SSM with a ABM radar to be used as a SAM. He doesnt say Prithvi tech wont be used. Aha I see the point now. He does not mention a modified Prithvi in the statement. Thanks.

Edit: Remember even when we did the pokhran2, we violated no treaty. Hmm.... Lets see... the NPT and CTBT!! We are one of only 4 (then 3) nations that had not signed it but that does not mean that we did not violate those treaties in the eyes of the world. And there is a slight difference between t...

Okay, I believe this missile was Indian. But how much help was taken from other countries? I can believe that the Trishul/Akash components must have helped a little bit when it came to developing the second stage of this new missile X. And more importantly, when is the DRDO going to release more inf...

Shiv Aroor and Amitav Ranjan are two chaps who sounded goofy - DRDO dint even bother to refute or confirm the drivel that was fed to these worthies. Reason being DRDO never was intended to market their output by wining and dining these journalistic bottom feeders. And as gurus here have pointed out...

Hats off to DRDO for developing ABM capability. If this is a true ABM, then I think we should have also developed an active seeker head. If that is true, it would be an amazing development and would help us in the development of the Astra AA missile. Nice work. Also, I don't know if this is a Prihvi...

Hmmm.... I was thinking about a scenario that does not involve Pakistan or China (atleast not directly). Involves a UN operation headed by India in the Persian Gulf circa 2019. It all starts at about 2016 when the Saudi Royal family gets dethroned in a coup d'etat. The military then installs an Imam...
