Answer that very honestly, to keep your criticism a bit within bounds.
The answer is very simple that preet bharara and his kind is where he is because others can't insult and degrade their own motherland and its people like he does. More like this why lawyers should be used in labs instead of rats:

Q: Why do behavioral scientists prefer lawyers to rats for their experiments?

A1: There are more of the lawyers to work with.

A2: Lawyers are more expendable.

A3: Lawyers do more harm to society than rats.

A4: Lab assistants are less likely to develop a bond or feel sympathy for them.

A5: Rats arouse more feelings of compassion and humanity.

A6: They multiply faster.

A7: Rats have an inate right to life and liberty.

A8: Animal rights groups will not object to their torture.

A9: Rats have more dignity.

A10: There are some things even a rat won't do.

A11: They're easier to catch... just tell somebody you want to sue someone and in no time, you'll have 10 of them at your feet.

A12: So you can brainwash them not to run for political office.
Let me add to this:

A13: Rats don't eat your money, only food (e.g. cheese preferred).
A14: Because rats don't scheme with your enemies.
A15: Because rats are interested in food and not your wife.
A16: Rats can be pets, lawyers are vampires.
A17: Because rats don't compulsively hoard or procastinate.
A18: Because rats are innocent.
A19: Even plague is better most punishments you can get from having a bad lawyer.
A20. There is no good lawyers, only no-good lawyers.
A21. Because rats stop eating when their stomachs are full.
A22. Because rats can be good company.
A23. Because lawyers smell bad.
A24. Rats dont charge by the hour for being around. Prostitutes and lawyers do.
A25. Rats are not looking for a free ride on your money. Prostitutes and lawyers are.
A26. Rats cant get you to disrobe. Prostitutes and lawyers do.
A27. Rats are not planning YOUR extermination.
A28. Rats are at keast food for snakes and cats.
A29. Rats can play a good role in mythology and children's stories -- a charriot for a deity, an imaginary good cook.
A30. Rats dont get you to divorce. Prostitutes and lawyers do.
A31. Rats have a purpose in life.
A33. A rat will live in a cage, the lawyer has his eyes set on your house.

Just saw the clip of Prannoy Roy, didn't hear anything, but Roy's physical appearance is a mess. He also seems casual instead of being formal.

Roy is a White Man's stooge. Seems to be some religious or investment link somewhere. He has a grovelling tone towards whites, like a house negro talking to Massa. Americans too give him preferential access over other channels. There is some connection between the two that is not in public domain.
See my post in the Media watch thread ... uNDTV is US's front in India. They represent US view points., the journos are supposed to ask specific leading questions so that US govt reps can then answer through a view point.

uNDTV is *not* an Indian channel. It is an US channel operating in India.

Roy proves the dictum, Fudduu=Arogant Buddhu,AH, Stinker, idiot, hypocrite etc cant remain hidden for long. The Paki nature compel them to come out of Burka and do Mujra . He is in awe of Gora and contempt for his own nation.

Israelis and Palestinians are at war. Iraq and Syria are convulsed by civil strife. Libya’s security situation is rapidly deteriorating. Tensions between Russia and Ukraine threaten to explode. Afghanistan is enmeshed in an election crisis. A nuclear agreement with Iran remains elusive. And at this crucial juncture, Secretary of State John Kerry has jetted off to New Delhi for the U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue on Thursday.Given all that’s going on elsewhere, some argue that this is the wrong time for Mr. Kerry to make this particular visit.
Wrong. Here are three reasons why Mr. Kerry is doing the right thing at the right time:First, the U.S. has an opportunity to demonstrate that Washington values its relations with the world’s largest democracy (which is on track to overtake China as the world’s most populous country). Many in New Delhi believe that Washington has allowed U.S.-India relations to drift. The Obama administration’s focus on Afghanistan, they argue, has led to increased engagement with Pakistan, with neighboring India left in the lurch. What better way for the U.S. to show its commitment to India then by sending its chief envoy to New Delhi while crises the world over compete for U.S. attention?
Second, the shifting strategic sands of South Asia create an opening for deeper U.S. engagement with India. The U.S. military drawdown in Afghanistan means that Washington could soon give more attention to the broader region. This wider strategic lens is likely to be accompanied by strategic objectives—such as more regional integration and cross-border trade—that will require buy-in from India, the region’s largest economy. Greater bilateral cooperation could help attract such support, though building this bridge will take time. Don’t forget that India’s recently elected prime minister, Narendra Modi, was denied a U.S. visa for nearly 10 years. Mr. Kerry’s visit can help get things off on the right foot.Third, Mr. Kerry needs to repair his own image in India. In recent days he’s been battered in the Indian press; one journalist described him as a “traveling salesman” who hectors more than he listens. Indian analysts have expressed unhappiness with his past positions, including his insistence that India sign the nuclear NonProliferation Treaty. The warm relationships Mr. Kerry has cultivated with Pakistani officials also make many Indians wary; few senior officials in Washington are on better terms with more of Pakistan’s top civilian and military officials than is Kerry. His multi-day stay in New Delhi can help reduce some of this negative sentiment. For India’s relations to improve with Washington, they must also improve with Mr. Kerry himself. To be sure, Mr. Kerry’s visit will be heavy on symbolism and light on substance, and it won’t resolve the numerous sore points afflicting bilateral ties. But it can still be a significant diplomatic success—significant enough for the U.S. secretary of state to take a break from the world’s crises for a few days.

Roy P used to be a very smart dresser on telly. That pic of him shows a diff. man altogether. In fact one has not seen him for ages pontificating on anything even in a senior capacity as Shekar Gupta does.

PS:Have members been watching the highly entertaining "Nitwit" papers? Nutty is going to town about Sonia's "ruthlessness" in episode2 on the Thapar show. Now Sonia-G and Quisling Singh, who ha suddenly found his voice and opened it more times in one day than he did during a decade as PM,is denying that he sent files to his boss.Does anyone believe him?! Both Soni-G and Quisling Singh now say that they are going to write their own books showing their side of the story. The publishers and bookstores must be droolin' in anticipation.

Sonia can write? You are serious? Not having me on? I always thought that Sonia refused PM-ship because Dr. Kalam asked her to sign for PM ship or asked her to read the oath, and she could not. If Sonia actually writes the book herself, I will buy it just for the grammar.

You might remember the evening in 1977 when Salma Sultan the beautiful news reader came to read the news of hitler indira gandhi's defeat. My god she looked having aged 20 years since last evening news, even in the black & white TV one could see that she must have come from crying and no make-up.

The same way standing on a lawn prnav roy took a casual interview of amit shah when election results were being declared and the sickly appearance was not there while he was dressed very casually.

It's the shock and fear at how the things will take turn when CBI or IT will raid him. That's why he has taken suck an ass-licking interview of JoKe, "we feel ignored!" sob sob....

Roy even requests deeper US intervention in India. What intervention in India he wants? Just when Roy-chidu-rajdeep-burka are being arrested the US should interven to save them.

The Israeli govt. called US Sec. of State,John Kerry, aka "JoKerry" ..."stupid". Now since JoKerry is in India confabulating with our MEA mandarins, advancing Indo-US relations with contentious issues like WTO negotiations, etc.,perhaps a definition of the adjective used by the Israelis would help our mandarins and leaders who interact with him so that there are no misunderstandings in verbal, and visual communications. Here is a very useful guide, which should be at hand for our negotiators so that they can understand JoKerry better.

The Stupidity Index– Power of Stupid, Idiocy, Lunacy, Folly… Stupidity-Based Theory of Organization and Management

December 25, 2013 Joe DePaola
Stupidity is a quality or state of being stupid, or an act or idea that exhibits properties of being stupid. According to Pitkin; the problems with stupidity is that nobody has a really good definition of what it is. In fact, geniuses are often considered stupid by a stupid majority (though nobody has a good definition of genius, either). But stupidity definitely is all around us and there is much more of it than our wildest nightmares might suggest. In fact, it runs the world – which is very clearly proven by the way the world is run. According to Jaspreet Kaur; stupid management mistakes never cease to amaze me, and every day I hear stories from people who leave me wondering why smart managers can be so dumb, for example: Got a problem? Set-up a committee? Want someone to do something? Throw them in to the deep end with little training, then come down hard on them when they screw-up… Ask your workforce for feedback, and then ignore everything that’s been suggested… Want to treat your staff like demented idiots who can’t think for themselves? Just micro-manage everything and talk down to them when they come up with ideas… According to Susan Heathfield; organizations do dumb things to mess-up relationships with the people they employ, for example; failing to tell people what they’re supposed to do and then wondering why they fail, adding layers of paperwork and bureaucracy to stop things getting done, and treating people as if they are untrustworthy, or telling employees to change the way they are doing things without providing good explanation why, and then sending them off to ‘change management’ training or Siberia, when they resist… According to Carlo Maria Cipolla; there are five fundamental ‘laws of stupidity’, here are three: The probability that a given person is stupid is independent of any other characteristic possessed by that person… A person is stupid if they cause damage to another person or group of people without experiencing personal gain, or even worse causing damage to themselves in the process… Non-stupid people always underestimate harmful potential of stupid people; they constantly forget that at– anytime, anywhere, and in any circumstance, dealing with or associating themselves with stupid individuals invariably constitutes a costly error…

aa stupid2

Stupidity Index: According to Nikhil; we are all born with a ‘Stupidity Index’ of 3. The scale is from 0 to 5, where 0 is the least stupid and 5 is the most stupid: I am at 4. What about you? Assess yourself. You’ll be surprised to know where you stand… Anyway, when Charles Darwin wrote ‘Origin Of Species’, he overlooked one major fact – The Stupidity Index… The scale is explained as follows:

aa stupid 2

Wall Street Stupidity Index: The day Twitter went public not only was it profitable in the fiscal sense, but also illuminated a metric that has heretofore been under-appreciated by those attempting to comprehend and thereby profit from the laws that guide the market. We will call this potent new tool– The Wall Street Stupidity Index…

stupid the-wall-street-stupidity-index

In the article Never Underestimate The Power Of Stupid People In Large Groups by George Carlin writes: I’ve said it before– stupid people are dangerous. Sure they are amusing some of the time and annoying all of the time, but they are also dangerous a lot of the time too. Whether it be the stupid idiot who gets drunk and thinks it makes him a better driver, or someone in a company who has been promoted well beyond his or her level of ability just because the number of years of service he or she has accrued, or one of those despicable ‘jobs-worth’ morons you inevitably find in bureaucratic government non-jobs, their stupidity poses a danger to the rest of us… A lot of the time the idiots get away with it, without anyone noticing much. The smart people get on with their lives and quietly accept the interference of the stupid. But recently idiots have been steadily encroaching on our private lives, into things that are clearly none of their business and things that pose no danger to society at large or to any individual within it: The idiots want power, but they don’t know what to do with it, when they get it. But they want it, and more and more of it. My own theory is that at heart, although they try to appear superior, the idiots know they are idiots and actually feel inferior to normal people… We’ve been through the NSA fiasco when they were outed by a former employee. We know they look at our emails, listen to our telephone conversations, probably even snoop in our mail or scrutinize our blogs (gosh!)… And we are currently in midst of one of the most idiotic standoffs in history: Washington with the President, Senate and House of Representatives seeing who can balance on one leg the longest while the country becomes the laughing-stock of the rest of the world. Yes folks, never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups to destroy society and drag the rest of us down along with them…

In the article A Stupidity-Based Theory of Organizations by Mats Alvesson and André Spicer write: Management and organization studies are a bound with positive-sounding reports of the importance of well-educated and bright-workers in knowledge-based firms that are at the forefront of the knowledge economy: There is broad consensus that modern economies is becoming increasingly ‘knowledge-intensive’… Many assume that being able to put knowledge to work intelligently is the essence of what (successful) organizations do… However, we think that this consensus needs to be challenged; and perhaps modern economies and organizations should become more ‘stupidity-intensive’… To develop this challenge, we offer something different by drawing attention to significance of ‘functional stupidity’ in organizations– where functional stupidity can help to marginalize sources of friction and uncertainty… However, in our view, what is crucial is that functional stupidity is not just an aberration in organizational life, but in many cases it’s central and supported by organizational norms and facilitates smooth interactions in organizations. Being clever and knowledgeable is fine and necessary, but so is refraining from being reflexive and avoiding asking for justifications for decisions and structures, and minimizing substantive reasoning about values and goals. In this sense, functional stupidity can be helpful in producing results– for organizations as well as for individuals. It’s productive because it cuts short– costly and anxiety inducing questions and creates a sense of certainty… But, like many things in organizational life it’s a mixed blessing: It’s ‘functional’ because it has some advantages and makes people concentrate enthusiastically on the task in hand. It’s ‘stupid’ because risks and problems may arise when people do not pose critical questions about what they and the organization are doing… We see functional stupidity as being created not through intellectual deficits but through political expediency and the exercise of power. In other words, organizational members become functionally stupid through a series of cultural and institutional beliefs… reinforced by managerial (and self-managerial) interventions, such as; encouraging narrow action orientation, celebration of leadership, attachment to structure, strong belief in institutions… which discourage substantive reasoning and justification… This happens through a combination of indirect and more systemic stupidity management…
Pl. ck the link for the diagram.Perhaps we could improve upon the above scale by applying labels and rating it thus:

A little stupid... "An Idiot"......Index Scale 1.

Really stupid..... "A Moron"..............Scale 2.

Incredibly stupid.. "A Cretin" ............Scale 3.

Unbelievably stupid "Spastic"..............Scale 4.

Totally stupid... "All of the above" ..Scale 5.

Where does Jokerry rate on this scale? Ratings welcome!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure now that we knew about the bug. It's just too coincidental for this to have come out after the WTO settlement was stonewalled by us. Must say though, she really gave it to that bast@rd. Look at how confident but cold she looked. She's really a knife. She may have indulged in corruption and politically unstable, but she really is a strong asset to have in the right hands. Kerry looked a bit shaken up. The Americans aren't used to tough talk like this from us and they were caught off guard by the bugging revelation. They must be kicking themselves that they didn't extract any mileage as far as recalibration of the Indian position on the WTO matter.

Modi & the West
The prime minister will walk alone if it benefits India.
By N.V. Subramanian (30 July 2014)

This piece was written earlier to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging the audience of agricultural scientists at the ICAR Foundation Day ceremony to give a “standing ovation” to Indian farmers. It is his manner of riposte to the WTO over the Trade Facilitation Agreement.

New Delhi: India’s stand against the Trade Facilitation Agreement at the WTO to protect the interests of its farmers has hit a raw nerve in the West. The United States has hinged the success of Narendra Modi’s first visit as prime minister to the country on winning trade concessions from India. US Secretary of State John Kerry said as much while listing the dos for India to strengthen relations with America. This is absolutely the wrong approach to take with India and particularly Narendra Modi.

The Indian decision against the Trade Facilitation Agreement was not a bureaucratic carry-over from the previous United Progressive Alliance regime. If such was the case, the decision would have come three years hence, and by then, much water would have flowed under the bridge for India’s opposition to be effective and meaningful. This is why the Modi government seized the bull by the horns now. And the decision is entirely the prime minister’s. The prime minister’s decisions are considered even if they are quick. The United States and pro-US economists and commentators should expect no reversal.

Narendra Modi is a pragmatic political leader. He was willing to swallow the insults heaped on him by the United States so long its close relations with India benefited this country. In his dealings, Modi can be highly impersonal. It is this ability to objectively remove himself from a set of developments that allowed him to put a lid on the rancour produced by the denied US visa. But he will not compromise with national interest. If India’s conservative trade policies hit relations with the United States, Modi would remain undeterred, provided they genuinely serve Indian interests. The Trade Facilitation Agreement in the present circumstances does not.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is embarked on something bigger whose contours are only slightly visible. He is aiming at what may be called economic multi-polarity to loosen the stranglehold of the Washington Consensus. His ideas to strengthen BRICS aim in that direction. The speed with which the Brazil Summit cleared the BRICS Bank with headquarters in Shanghai owes considerably to Narendra Modi. He is keen to strengthen dual-use technology trade with Russia. And he has definite agendas for the upcoming meeting with his Japanese counterpart and with Germany’s Angela Merkel when it materializes. Narendra Modi wants to contain US overbearingness; and to the limits of India’s heft, he is trying to bring changes to the world’s economic-financial architecture.

If anybody thinks the Indian bureaucracy is with him in his transformational plans, they cannot be more mistaken. The Ministry of External Affairs is dead-set against Narendra Modi’s Look East policy and South Asia initiatives. (To embarrass him, a section of the Ministry leaked and exaggerated to the Opposition the attempts at dubious peace-making of an Indian journalist with the terrorist leader, Hafiz Sayeed.) The Indian Foreign Service is scornful about Modi’s efforts to attract investments from Japan, South Korea, etc. and obsesses towards the United States to bail out India. Narendra Modi is not seeking a bailout. That is the key difference between him and some previous prime ministers. He is working towards a paradigm change. This is most obvious in his foreign policy. He is concentrating primarily on the immediate and near neighbors. The West is more distantly placed in his priority. His government has refused to hype Modi’s September visit to the United States. It is significant that he hardened the Indian stand on the Trade Facilitation Agreement weeks before the US tour. If he was so keen on America, he would have dithered.

One thing the United States should know about Narendra Modi; this is that he is no ditherer. If the United States now places conditions on Modi’s visit, such as concessions on trade and investments, intellectual property rights, civilian nuclear liability, and so on, it will be counter-productive. The best way for Modi’s visit to succeed is if the United States welcomes him with an open mind, makes no demands that he cannot concede, and works towards future relations. Narendra Modi has the clearest idea of where to take India, and how. He will be perfectly willing to work with the United States but he will permit no one to torpedo his plans for India’s rise. When President Barack Obama meets him, he will know him better.

the earlier rhetoric of natural allies, strategic partner now becomes 'potential partner'.

good.

almost all the senior MEA IAS/IFS types today rose to the top under congi patronage machine and showing loyalty to congress. a wholesale cleanup is needed by posting them off to places of least damage potential and bringing in fresh blood punished earlier for not toeing the party line.

As I mentioned in the Eastern Europe thread a few days ago, it is all inter-related, the BRICs bank, the effort to isolate Putin, the emergence of 2 strong leaders in India and China, and now Kerry's visit to India.

Sushma Swaraj and Kerry Press Conf is indeed interesting and there is so much she is saying in those short statements. Kerry talked like Jassu Mithaiwala.

Israel is mighty p!ssed with this fellow and likely that he will resign. He is getting Putinified with personal attacks even from Wash Post. Poetic justice.

I think that this has been timed very specifically to Kerry's visit, the entire book release and the TV interviews have been calibrated by natwar to maximize the blast radius against old foes and enhance the sales potential.

Good going for the old warhorse.

How about this from a leading American News Analysis show host on Fox:

HANNITY: JOHN KERRY A 'DUMBASS,' 'DOPE,' 'IDIOT'

PS:Have members been watching the highly entertaining "Nitwit" papers? Nutty is going to town about Sonia's "ruthlessness" in episode2 on the Thapar show. Now Sonia-G and Quisling Singh, who ha suddenly found his voice and opened it more times in one day than he did during a decade as PM,is denying that he sent files to his boss.Does anyone believe him?! Both Soni-G and Quisling Singh now say that they are going to write their own books showing their side of the story. The publishers and bookstores must be droolin' in anticipation.

Yes, I believe MMS when he claims that no files went from the PMO to the Queen Mother. He is speaking the truth. Rather, the files went from the ministries first to the Queen Mother and then it went to the PMO with necessary directives.

Ergo, MMS is not lying.

Don't trust this fellow. Given half a chance he will resume brown-nosing with the vigor of a hypocritical zealot...

Sean Hannity is a stupid Fk but that is what he said and the context was Philip ji's rather comic post.
I said leading american news analysis show host.....I didn't say his analysis is/was great. Remember Fox ratings are high, analysis is often stupid and racist. so what does that make of americans who are watching it and rating it?

At this stage what does he stand to gain or lose? He's an old fart who is enjoying his retirement in a nice bungalow somewhere in Delhi.

There's always something to gain, something to lose. Till the last breath boss. If not, he would not have written the book to begin with. I'm waiting to get my hands on it, in fact. This is the revenge of a disillusioned old sycophant, who feels betrayed, bartered, quartered, and then sharted out of the Gandhi family nethers... Must be a goldmine of info

His grouse is that his son is not being accommodated in the CongI power structure in Raj or at the centre. He is Amrinder Singh's BIL, I am sure they may have applied pressure from those quarters as well, but to no avail.

After Shakti tests, natwar was second most poisonous opposer after chidambaram. He was like a dog with bone about Vajpayee's letter to clinton about tests being china centric, which clinton released for whole world to see.

Natwar could have shown some guts and wrote this book when UPA was in power and not when it has been mashed to pulp by NaMo. Slimey SOB .........

A tape from Sep 10 2001 have come out in which Clinton says "I could have killed bin Laden but I didnt". Reacting to this tape, Andrea Tantaros (Sean Hannity's colleague at Fox News, republican, used to work in DC) said this:

"Presidents have to take such tough decisions, this does not make him bad president. Bill Clinton is the worst president because of his foreign policy: He gave Pakistan nukes..."

It proves that we in India need similar right-leaning channel and it's viewership probably could outstrip the existing sickular msm channels.

What is with that brown patch on his (Roy's) left cheek? Looks like a bruise. Somebody punched him or what?
Maybe some physical illness?
