Muslim fundamentalists are plotting to take over state schools, according to leaked documents.

Activists have launched a campaign to oust headteachers using dirty tricks such as spreading false allegations and packing governing bodies with their supporters.

The plot, which ringleaders have named Operation Trojan Horse, has emerged in documents drawn up by the group and leaked to a local newspaper.

The dossier names several schools in the Birmingham area as targets of alleged plots.

The authors of the documents discuss extending the ‘jihad’ operation to Bradford and Manchester – cities with rapidly growing Muslim populations.

Tony Blair’s company is alleged to have brokered multi-million pound deals that earned £41,000 a month and two per cent commission on each transaction with an oil firm founded by a senior Saudi royal family member.

The leaked 21-page contract apparently shows that the former Labour prime minister's umbrella company, Tony Blair Associates, agreed in November 2010 to arrange deals for PetroSaudi with his senior Chinese officials contacts during his visit to Beijing that month, as reported by The Sunday Times.

This is the first time that a commercial contract of his has apparently been revealed, despite the petrol firm insisting it stays top secret, and it poses questions over Blair's role as a Middle East envoy and his vested personal interests following his decision to invade Iraq in 2003.

PetroSaudi, which is registered in the Cayman Islands tax-haven to legally avoid 85 per cent oil and gas company taxes in the Middle Eastern nation, was jointly founded by Saudi businessman Tarek Obaid and Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud, one of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah's seven sons.

The contract appears to state that TBA would help find potential new investment donors and says that they would make "introductions to the senior political leadership, industrial policy-makers, corporate entities and other persons in China identified and deemed by us and you to be relevant to PetroSaudi's international strategy," the Sunday Times added.

A spokesperson said: "Tony Blair Associates worked for PetroSaudi for a period of months over four years ago.

"This was in connection with an issue in the Far East and nothing whatsoever to do with the Middle East or the unpaid ex-officio role of Tony Blair for the Quartet in Palestine.

However, the Sunday Times reported that chief investment officer of PetroSaudi, Patrick Mahoney, claimed that Blair worked on the Saudi Arabian deal "for about four to five months maximum."

The UK arm of the oil firm is registered in Mayfair, London, and the whole operation has projects in Ghana, Indonesia, Venuzuela and Tunisia with an alleged £1.1 billion investment from Malaysian government firm 1MDB.

"TBA has had no involvement in Malaysia and has no knowledge of the matter," the spokesperson added.

- When they're conscious of being a minority

How does this compute? If they are conscious of being in a minority why would they want to exacerbate the feeling even more by wearing Burkhas and headscarves.

- When the standards of the society they live in - whether South Asia or the West- becomes more sexually permissive. Modernity means that women are working, studying and running errands on their own or without elders.

The West, including Britain has been sexually permissive since the sixties. In fact, it might have been even more so back in the sixties than now. So why the increase in Burkha wearing Muslim women now?

The more likely cause is that they see people (read men) of their own community getting more and more conservative and don't want to tick them off and land in a soup because they dared to dress like any other women.

Muslim attire increases due to identity insecurity. For example, in Indian cities, the proportion of burkhas, skull caps, and men wearing pajamas with 2-3 inches of leg showing (from below ) increases after every major riot.

Also, you are right about the pressure from men over their women to confirm as non-muslims become more open in their behaviour and dresses. Muslim men are hypocritical about this - they go around enjoying the 'benefits' of non-muslim women who are open, while putting pressure on their own women not to behave like that.

Sir Winston Churchill 's family feared he might convert to Islam

In the letter, discovered by Warren Dockter, a history research fellow at Cambridge University, she pleads: “Please don’t become converted to Islam; I have noticed in your disposition a tendency to orientalise [fascination with the Orient and Islam], Pasha-like tendencies, I really have.”

In a letter to Lady Lytton in the same year Churchill wrote: “You will think me a pasha [rank of distinction in the Ottoman Empire]. I wish I were.”

Churchill’s fascination led him and his close friend Wilfrid S. Blunt, the poet and radical supporter of Muslim causes, to dressing in Arab clothes in private while in each other’s company. Dr Dockter said of the letter from Lady Gwendoline: “Churchill had fought in Sudan and on the North West frontier of India so had much experience on being in 'Islamic areas’.

“He often came to loggerheads on imperial policies with hard-line imperialists such as Frederick Lugard, the High Commissioner of Northern Nigeria. Churchill was opposed to Lugard’s punitive expeditions against Islamic tribes in northern Nigeria.”

He points out that Lady Gwendoline’s concerns may not have been so wide of the mark. Not only did Churchill appear to regard Islam and Christianity as equals – a surprisingly progressive notion for the time – but he also admired the military prowess and history of expansion of the Ottoman Empire.

In October 1940, as Britain faced its darkest hour against Nazi Germany, Churchill approved plans to build a mosque in central London and set aside £100,000 for the project. He continued to back the building of what became the London Central Mosque in Regent’s Park – which he hoped would win support for Britain in the Muslim world at a crucial moment – even in the face of public criticism.

In December 1941, he told the House of Commons: “Many of our friends in Muslim countries all over the East have already expressed great appreciation of this gift.”

Churchill’s attitude may appear hypocritical, given his forthright defence of the British Empire – which at its height ruled over millions of Muslims across India, Egypt and the Middle East.

But Dr Dockter says a closer examination of Churchill’s attitude to the wider Muslim world reveals it to be “in stark contrast to the purely imperialistic and orientalist perspective of many of his contemporaries”.

In his book, he states: “His views of Islamic people and culture were an often paradoxical and complex combination of imperialist perceptions composed of typical orientalist ideals fused with the respect, understanding and magnanimity he had gained from his experiences in his early military career, creating a perspective that was uniquely Churchillian.”
The revelation that Churchill had a close affinity for Muslim culture comes at a time when tensions between the three great monotheistic faiths, Christianity, Judaism and Islam are greater than they have been for centuries.

Ironically, many of the fault lines between Islam and the West have their roots in the world Churchill helped shape after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the redrawing of the Middle East at the end of the First World War.

The settlements between the region’s colonial powers, brokered by Churchill, with T E Lawrence – “Lawrence of Arabia” – as an adviser, gave birth, in Dr Dockter’s words, to “the Middle East we know, warts and all”.

“Not many people are aware that Churchill and T E Lawrence were friends or that they worked together to solve the riddles of the Middle Eastern settlements. Understanding these settlements is paramount to understanding the legacy of Britain in the Middle East.”

Of course, Churchill did not convert to Islam, and Dr Dockter concludes that his fascination was “largely predicated on Victorian notions, which heavily romanticised the nomadic lifestyle and honour culture of the Bedouin tribes”.

Such was his limited understanding of Islam that as colonial secretary during the early 1920s he had to ask what the difference was between Shia and Sunni Muslims, the two major groupings whose long-standing animosity is currently playing out in Syria and Iraq.

My son,who is a policeman, was interviewed by a promotion board.What questions did they ask you, I enquired,assuming they would want to know his thoughts about catching drug dealers,burglars and the drunks causing trouble late at night. Er no ! The entire interview was about diversity and milti-culturalism.e.g. how could improvements be made to how they deal with ethnic minority issues, and what was he doing to ensure he had a better personal knowledge of ethnic minorites etc etc.
I told him he should have walked out,and complained, but with a family and mortgage he said he just gritted his teeth,and passed the interview.

Belgian anti-terror raid in Verviers leaves two dead
Two suspected jihadists have been killed in an anti-terror operation in eastern Belgium, officials say.
A third person had been arrested in the raid in Verviers and weapons are reported to have been recovered.
Prosecutor Eric Van Der Sypt told reporters police had targeted a group returning from Syria who had been about to launch attacks in a matter of hours.
Suspects had opened fire on police, he said. There were also overnight searches in the Brussels area.
Speaking after Thursday's raids in Verviers, Mr Van Der Sypt said: "The suspects immediately and for several minutes opened fire with military weaponry and handguns on the special units of the federal police before they were neutralised."
After the raid, four Kalashnikovs, bomb-making equipment and police clothing were found, according to local media. Security forces remain in the Verviers area.
Anti-terror raids also took place late on Thursday in Brussels and surrounding towns, including Sint-Jans-Molenbeek, Anderlecht and Schaerbeek.
Earlier on Thursday two suspected Islamists were arrested in the Brussels suburb of Zaventem, local media reported.
Belgian officials say more than 300 people have left Belgium to fight with Islamic militant groups in Syria and Iraq.
'Just terrified'
Belgian journalist Mark Eeckhaut told the BBC the suspects in Verviers had wanted to attack a police station and cause a large number of casualties.
The terror threat level in Belgium has been raised to three - the second highest, Mr Van Der Sypt said.
Witnesses in Verviers reported hearing heavy gunfire for several minutes and at least three explosions.
Witness Marylou Fletcher told the BBC: "We were going back from shopping and saw the police cars. We thought there was an accident then we heard something blowing up. There were a lot of gunshots.
"My children cried. They are just terrified."
The area around the train station has been cordoned off and reports on social media say there is a heavy police presence in the town centre.
Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel later said the security operation "shows the government's determination to fight those who want to spread terror", his spokesman said.
British Prime Minister David Cameron said events in Belgium "look like yet another indication of the huge risk we face from Islamist extremist terror in Europe".
"We have to remain extremely vigilant, we have to take all the steps we can to beat this evil," he told reporters in Washington where he is to hold talks with President Barack Obama.
Verviers is in the province of Liege, close to the German border, and has a population of about 56,000.
The incident comes a week after attacks in neighbouring France that killed 17 people. Belgian media has reported that some of the weapons used in those attacks were bought in Brussels.
Mr Van Der Sypt said no weapons link with the killings in France had been established.
However there are fears that the suspects captured or killed in this operation could have been inspired by the killings in France to accelerate their own plans, the BBC's Chris Morris in Verviers says.
The attacks in and around Paris - on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, a kosher market and police - have heightened security fears in several European countries.
In May last year, four people were killed inside the Jewish museum in Brussels. A Frenchman of Algerian descent is in custody in Belgium over the attack.

The prophets of doom were right.The very thought that a Muslim with links to radical Islam would become the Mayor of London would've brought the house down in any comedy show a decade ago. Unthinkable. The manner in which Islam has spread and spread and spread in the British Isles is not a laughing matter.For 4 decades now I've been a regular visitor to the UK and London in particular. The change has been remarkable. The ancient "Britishness" has been replaced by what Tony Blair called an "inclusive Britain",but one which has dramatically changed in both colour and character. One never saw headscarfs and the burqa earlier,unless perhaps one went into the Muslim heartland of B'ham or Bradford. Now it is commonplace,displayed as a badge of honour and membership of a powerful clan,flaunted like a crusading flag. Minarets are springing up everywhere,and not here but all over Europe except in a few nations which have banned them.A German poll showed that the majority of Germans are against the Islamic invasion.

Christian Britain or Christian Europe is a sick joke. All over the UK the Protestant Church has been evaporating from cities,towns and villages like water in Indian rivers and lakes. I recently separately met 3 EU youngsters who said that they were atheists! The fastest growing religion not only in Europe and the UK but all over the world,because of its pressganging character is Islam.Woebetide any of the faithful who wish to differ and lead a more moderate Islamic life.ISIS awaits them! Tories prepared to challenge London mayoral result

Conservatives are prepared to challenge the result of the London mayoral race through the courts if the result is tight following chaos at polling stations across the capital.

Thousands of people were suspected to have been turned away at polling stations in Barnet, north London, after officials were given incomplete lists of registered voters.

The Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and his wife were among those affected as political candidates and voters expressed fury at the “affront to democracy”.

Jewish leaders expressed concern that after a week dominated by an anti-Semitism row in Labour many Jews may have been unable to vote due to the blunders.

There have been calls for a public inquiry after 155 polling stations across the borough suffered problems between 7am and 10am on Thursday.

Barnet Council publicly apologised and urged those who missed out to return before 10pm or use emergency powers to name a proxy in their absence.

However Londoners called the situation a “farce” and “incredibly frustrating” after attempting to vote before work and insisted "an apology is really not good enough”.

Barnet has a higher proportion of Jews than any borough in England – 15 per cent – with one in three of the Jewish community in London based there.

Jonathan Arkush, the president of the Board of Deputies, told The Telegraph it was “unfortunate” an area with so many Jewish residents was hit by the election failures.

While the scale of those affected remains unclear it seems likely the Tories will be worst hit given the borough's recent voting history.

The area returned three Tory MPs at the last election and voted overwhelmingly for Boris Johnson as London Mayor in 2012, while the council is also run by the Conservatives.

Tory sources said a legal challenge was likely if Zac Goldsmith, the party’s candidate for mayor, lost to Labour MP Sadiq Khan by a slim margin.

Grounds for the appeal include claiming the successful candidate was not duly elected, or that the election was invalidated by corrupt or illegal practices.

Sophie Walker, the candidate for the Women’s Equality party, who lives in Barnet, said she had registered a complaint with the organisers of the mayoral elections.

"I am very disappointed … Women first got the vote 100 years ago and there are women today who have been unable to vote," she said.

It is unclear how many of Barnet’s 236,000 registered voters were affected. There were claims that some polling stations were given lists of only those voters who had register in recent months, though Barnet council declined to comment.

A spokesman for the council said “all the updated electoral registers” were in place from 10am and added: “We apologise for the problems we have experienced.”

A scholar of Islamist extremism makes a prediction: Europe’s problem will get worse

In the latest issue of Perspectives on Terrorism, an academic journal published by the Terrorism Research Initiative, Thomas Hegghammer offers a worrying prognosis for the long-term future of Islamist extremism in Europe: things will probably get worse.

Hegghammer is a senior research fellow at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment (FFI) in Oslo, and he is often cited as a leading expert on violent Islamist extremism. In his article, he notes that while there has long been terrorism in Europe, there has been an undeniable surge in Islamist-extremism-related activism and violence over the past few years. To quote just one indicator Hegghammer cites, 273 people were killed by “jihadi” attacks in Europe between 2014 and 2016 — more than the all previous years combined.

In the short term, Hegghammer suggests that a variety of countermeasures, including increased budgets for security services and attempts to root out recruitment networks, will likely produce a decline in activity from Islamist extremists in the next two to five years. But he sees little reason to be optimistic in the long term, writing that there are a number of trends that “point to a future with even larger radicalization and terrorism challenges than today.”

First, there is the growing number of economically underperforming Muslim youths in Europe. This is traditionally a pool from which extremist groups recruit, and Hegghammer writes that this population looks set to continue to grow dramatically thanks to immigration and higher birth rates. Entrenched economic disadvantages will likely stop many young Muslims from gaining the full benefits of modern European societies.

The second, more important trend is the growing number of “jihadi entrepreneurs” — returned foreign fighters and other activists — who could inspire and recruit a new generation of European extremists. Hegghammer conservatively estimates there are now at least 2,000 radical Islamists in Europe with foreign fighter experience, time in prison, or both. While some may turn away from jihadism in the future, a small proportion will not.
The third and fourth factors relate not just to Europe, but to the broader world. Hegghammer suggests that persistent conflicts in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia look “set to supply European jihadis with both rallying causes and training opportunities for the foreseeable future, as it has in the past.” Many experts believe that the conflict in Syria may still have a long way to go and that groups like the Islamic State will be very hard to fully defeat. The group could be training and blooding potential European attackers for years to come.

Compounding this problem is the final factor: the Internet. The Internet has considerable benefits for extremist groups, Hegghammer suggests, serving as a tool for “propaganda distribution, recruitment, fundraising, reconnaissance, and operational coordination.” The rise of encrypted communications and social media have made it harder for authorities to keep up.

If these trends continue, Hegghammer predicts that Europe could well see higher levels of Islamist extremism activity in the next five to 15 years depending on how European authorities are able to respond to new threats, this could well mean more terrorist attacks. ……………………….
