Amazing documentary on one of the most legendary fighters to have ever been built...
(worth posting again even if posted earlier)

Lots of information on the SMT upgrade and the Mig29K both for the Indian Airforce and the navy in the second part.
Some beautiful historical footage as well. I strongly recommend to all fans of the Mig29

Nice Video Thanks for posting , it good to see the Chief Designer , Test Pilots since its inception talk about and give their perspective on the program and many still seem to be doing well hail and hearty. Seems they lost 2 Prototype during Flight Testing program and took around 8 years to design the Mig-29 and another 4 for the complete flight program to complete and inducted ....the fact that Mig-29 in its latest avatar ( Mig-29K ,Mig-35 , 29M2 ) can still remain competitive against any 4 plus designed fighter is a tribute its Designer 30 plus years after the first prototype took to the air !

Here is a recent video of Su-35 in action

This video is that of 4th Hodson's Horse, that commemorated 150 years since its raising on 20 May 1857 by Lt William Stephen Raikes Hodson. For fans of old cavalry regiments.

It shows the entire range of drills, ceremonies and trooping of the colours at a Regimental Quarter Guard.

If you have 50 minutes to spare, watch this program. I promise you that you will not regret it. The well made program will teach you about aviation, air warfare, aerodynamics, history of jets and jet engines and a series of aircraft starting from early Lockheed concepts to the F-104, SR 71, F-22 and F-35

^^
Watch as numerous fighters and bombers blast off from the Nellis AFB Runways in support of what is possibly the last Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB. The exercise involved the B-2 spirit out of Whiteman AFB to a first timer for Nellis, a 737 playing the AEW&C role from the RAAF. Red Flag 13-3 ends on March 15th.

We weren't allowed to shoot the following: The tail end of the B-2, FF F-22's, SW F-16's, OT's, and the EC-130.

Inside Combat Rescue -Part 1- Visions of War

About the Show

The elite Combat Rescue members of the U.S. Air Force, Pararescuemen, or PJs, have one mission: rescue American or Allied forces in extreme danger. Whether their targets are shot down or isolated behind enemy lines, surrounded, engaged, wounded, or captured by the enemy, PJs will do whatever necessary to bring those in peril home. For the first time in their history, the PJs allow camera crews to cover their missions in Afghanistan. Inside Combat Rescue is the story of the lives of these elite airmen.

Adding on to Acharya's post on how the US mispercieves the world, here's an amazing documentary "Fog Of War", which is an interview with Robert McNamara. Extremely insightful as to how decisions involving the fate of millions are taken. But getting back to the point please see his second point on "Empathizing with the Enemy" and how he brings it back in at 01:17:37 when he describes the misunderstandings that aggravated the Vietnam crisis.
