Survey: Which page on BR do you visit first?

Post by Jagan »

I am doing a survey. Its been five months since we updated our 'Main Page' and made it more interactive. with the news links and forum topics.

But has it changed your usage of BR? . How many of you had the BRF as the home page and now changed to the Main page? How many of you have changed your surfing pattern to visit the main page first and the Forum index page later? please respond in the poll.

BR's main page is not my home page but instead I have it bookmarked. Usually the first thing that I do is go to the main page and check out the latest headlines posted and read the articles linked if I am interested in the subject as conveyed by the headline. Occassionally, I also scroll down to see if any updates have been made to the site and explore them if there are any. Then I go to BRF's forum index page.

I go to BR main page first. And the first thing i click (after scrolling down to see the updates in the site)is Latest in the Forums.
I used to go to bharat-rakshak.com/php2 directly but a while ago it stopped working.

I do agree that BR home page is lot more functional and useful now. Good job.

Earlier I used to jump to forums or related pages, but now I always go to the homepage first...The headline news makes the biggest difference in addition to the ongoing discussions...

c) Not a home page but BRF is the page I visit first while surfing Believe me BRF is more addictive than cigarette or alcohol, not that I want to kick the habit like the other two.

I think the new changes are great, its easier to track both the latest on BR, news and also forum very easily.

I think it also results in lots of newbies being attracted to the forum.

The page motivated me to move from being a active lurker for ages (8+ years) to a member as well :-)

I used to go to the AirForce page directly previously.

Now the BR mainpage is so interactive, I can stop there and get all I want.
BR mainpage rocks !!!

Not a home page but BR Main Page is the page I visit first while surfing.

I like reading the news items on the main page before coming to the forum.

By the way, the BR staff is doing a great job! Please keep up the good work.

I have a folder on my bookmark toolbar with three links within it: BRM, BRS, BRT --- the three forum pages.

Have to keep my fix close at hand and all.

I really like to start with the main page for a quick glance of recent news. Then I spend most of the time in the military issues forum.

BR is not my home page but among the first sites I visit on the net. I check out the active threads on the main page and then go to the military discussions and economy/infrastructure in that order.
