Tony Blair's company 'brokered deals' with Chinese officials for Saudi Arabia oil firm
A leaked document claims Tony Blair's company would be paid tens of thousands for securing deals
Lamiat Sabin
Sunday 09 November 2014
Tony Blair’s company is alleged to have brokered multi-million pound deals that earned £41,000 a month and two per cent commission on each transaction with an oil firm founded by a senior Saudi royal family member.
The leaked 21-page contract apparently shows that the former Labour prime minister's umbrella company, Tony Blair Associates, agreed in November 2010 to arrange deals for PetroSaudi with his senior Chinese officials contacts during his visit to Beijing that month, as reported by The Sunday Times.
This is the first time that a commercial contract of his has apparently been revealed, despite the petrol firm insisting it stays top secret, and it poses questions over Blair's role as a Middle East envoy and his vested personal interests following his decision to invade Iraq in 2003.
PetroSaudi, which is registered in the Cayman Islands tax-haven to legally avoid 85 per cent oil and gas company taxes in the Middle Eastern nation, was jointly founded by Saudi businessman Tarek Obaid and Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud, one of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah's seven sons.

The contract appears to state that TBA would help find potential new investment donors and says that they would make "introductions to the senior political leadership, industrial policy-makers, corporate entities and other persons in China identified and deemed by us and you to be relevant to PetroSaudi's international strategy," the Sunday Times added.
A spokesperson said: "Tony Blair Associates worked for PetroSaudi for a period of months over four years ago.
"This was in connection with an issue in the Far East and nothing whatsoever to do with the Middle East or the unpaid ex-officio role of Tony Blair for the Quartet in Palestine.
However, the Sunday Times reported that chief investment officer of PetroSaudi, Patrick Mahoney, claimed that Blair worked on the Saudi Arabian deal "for about four to five months maximum."
The UK arm of the oil firm is registered in Mayfair, London, and the whole operation has projects in Ghana, Indonesia, Venuzuela and Tunisia with an alleged £1.1 billion investment from Malaysian government firm 1MDB.
"TBA has had no involvement in Malaysia and has no knowledge of the matter," the spokesperson added.

In-your-face racism has returned and few are fighting against it
Those at the top say nothing, while ethnic-minority politicians are the biggest cowards of the lot
This is truly disturbing. Always remember Germany in the 1930s. When life gets tough, people instinctively turn on those they define as the other, the outsider. Jews, black and mixed-race people, Travellers and the disabled, were murdered en masse because they were felt to be a threat to national greatness.
Extreme right-wing parties are getting popular here and no one takes them on. The Olympics now seem like a great British hypocrisy. Good party, shiny medals won by athletes of colour, including the refugee Mo Farah, but racial hatreds keep rising. Why? The first reason is the frenzied public discourse on immigration. Oh, don’t you tell me the debates have nothing to do with race. That is the spin. Malign migrants, and asylum-seekers and the rest of us become fair game, too.
Then there is the phoney complaint that no one is allowed to debate immigration. As Matthew d’Ancona, erstwhile editor of The Spectator points out:“We have been reminded relentlessly and remorselessly that not all who question immigration are racist (it’s in Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech if you care to look). Indeed the cliché is so familiar that one has to avoid the syllogistic trap and remind oneself that plenty of people who hate immigration are indeed bigots and xenophobes.”
In truth, it is racism that is the forbidden subject. If you object to that evil, you are “politically correct”, an oppressor and a threat to free speech. Missiles are fired at those of us who speak up. Some internet abuse is worse than being spat at. I am told by some leading lights that preference for one’s own sort is “natural” and that minorities have been spoilt by having protective laws and “special privileges”.
I blame the minorities, too, for the vulnerable state we are in. Islamicist separatism and now Isis terrorism have turned good people off diversity. The anti-white prejudices within some Asian families are mortifying. Grooming gangs have destroyed young girls and also cohesion and mutual trust between the brown and white Britons.
We are also frighteningly vulnerable because anti-racists have given up on the struggle, unlike feminists or those fighting for gay rights. The Equalities and Human Rights Commission is, frankly, moribund and we could, but don’t, use the web to campaign against racial prejudices. Where is a website to record everyday racism? Where is our Peter Tatchell? Where, indeed, is the next generation Anthony Lester, the human rights supremo who pushed through race relations legislation?
Britain could be an exemplary rainbow nation with a place for everyone. A few years back, we thought it was. It no longer is. In a globalised world, that is bad news, even for racists

It seems that while Brits were out there wondering about third world's problem, there own cabinet ministers and MPs were molesting young boys at sex parties. While 007 was out there defeating Ruusia single handed, his boss was molesting lil boys in the presence of Military chief and MPs. What a sick society? BBC is chup on this and so are main India English media. Imagine if it was in India. Any body for "Millionaire's Slum dog film?

Labour MP John Mann said he handed evidence of 'abuse parties' over in 1998 but claims the case was closed within three months by Scotland Yard.
The line up of accused from politicians to spy chiefs and lawyers and even military who all are actual people in power; it must be the outsiders and especially foreign students at fault here who want to avail of pristine and historical education set up in UK.The extraordinary allegations come just days after Scotland Yard announced it was setting up a new inquiry, Operation Midland, to investigate ‘possible homicides’ more than 30 years ago linked to a child abuse network said to involve senior politicians, spy chiefs, prominent military and legal figures.
But yesterday Mr Mann claimed the Metropolitan Police knew back in 1988 that these sex parties were happening and did nothing to stop them.
..
In July this year, it emerged that a 40-page dossier on suspected Establishment paedophiles compiled by the late Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens and sent to then Home Secretary Leon Brittan in 1983 had vanished.
A recent Home Office inquiry into its whereabouts failed to uncover the files and Home Secretary Theresa May said she could not rule out a possible cover-up.

'UK MPs ran pedophile ring in 70s, 80s
A British victim says some UK lawmakers ran a pedophile ring in the 1970s and 80s when they abused and in cases killed their young victims.
The man named Nick told the Exaro investigations agency that as a young victim of rape by the then lawmakers, he saw a Conservative MP choke a young boy to death at an “abuse party”.
Nick said: “I watched how that happened. I am not sure how I got out of that. Whether I will ever know why I survived, I am not sure.”
Now Scotland Yard has reportedly launched an inquiry into a “possible homicide” under the name Operation Midland.
It says officers working on Operation Fairbank, the investigation into the allegations of “serious non-recent sexual abuse” with links to the Parliament dating back to the 1970s and 1980s, had revealed further information regarding a possible homicide.
Around 18 months after Nick witnessed the boy’s murder, he claims he saw another boy killed in a brutal physical attack.
Nick, now in his 40s, alleges that a former Conservative MP repeatedly raped him and other boys between the ages of 10 and 14.
He claims he was first abused at a Christmas Party at the age of 11, where he and the other children were ordered not to speak to each other.
He said: “We were asked if we wanted a drink. It was always whisky. Both MPs were brutal. I was raped over a bath-tub while my head was beneath the water.”
Nick said he was handed to the pedophile ring of MPs and other prominent figures by his abusive father, and that he and other boys often picked up by “luxury cars with a chauffeur” and taken to “abuse parties” at different locations, including an apartment complex near the Parliament.

Young children raped ad nauseum by British politicos,no wonder then that they carry on the "good work" across the globe, spreading British Conservative culture, raping nations instead.
Many years ago a v.senior British High Commissioner was sacked for his membership of the notorious PIE (Paedophile Information Exchange),which had a galaxy of British members who organized affairs for members worldwide. In fact it was exposed by the Sri Lankan media a few decades ago that PIE wanted to make Sri Lanka their "retirement home" for their members! Lankans have a rather liberal attitude to sexual inclinations where many "bat for the other side".But PIE was all about the abuse of children, not consenting adults.

Father reportedly claims his son may have died at the hands of a Westminster paedophile ring
Kunal Dutta
Tuesday 18 November 2014
Scotland Yard is facing allegations of a “cover-up” after a father of an eight-year-old boy murdered in the 1980s reportedly said that his son may have died at the hands of a Westminster paedophile ring. as Vishambar Mehrotra’s son Vishal was abducted e walked home from Putney on 29 July 1981. He claims he received an anonymous call from a male prostitute in the months following.
The retired magistrate told The Daily Telegraph that he later recorded a male prostitute saying in a telephone call that his son may have been kidnapped and taken to the Elm Guest House.
Mr Mehrotra told The Telegraph he took the recording to the police by they refused to investigate the allegation. “He told me he believed Vishal may have been taken by paedophiles in the Elm Guest House near Barnes Common,” Mr Mehrotra said. “He talked about judges and politicians who were abusing little boys.” He added: “At that time I trusted the police. But when nothing happened I became confused and concerned. Now it clear to me that there has been a huge cover-up. There is no doubt in my mind.”
The allegation is the latest in widespread claims surrounding an establishment cover-up at Elm Guest House, in south-west London, purportedly the venue for the abuse of boys from local care homes in the 1970s and 1980s. However, despite lurid allegations involving high-profile public figures, no charges relating to the guest house have yet been brought.

Pedophilia seems to be a part of the Anglican Church Religion! When is somebody going to reform it?
Re: Indo-UK News and Discussion - April 2013
I was about to ask this question - why do we find pedophilia involving boys so prevalent in western societies? I mean, the people accused of abusing these boys could well have 'sourced' young girls. But that was not the case.RajeshA wrote:Pedophilia seems to be a part of the Anglican Church Religion! When is somebody going to reform it?
Considering most of these men in power would've been part of English elite establishment, more likely than not they would've come through the exclusive Public School(s) with boarding houses and Oxbridge route.
Could this proclivity for young boys be result of 'treatment' during boarding school days with strict christian upbringing? With sadomasochism thrown in courtesy the cane and associated punishments?

It took 4 days for this news to appear on BR. So is the power of mainstream media. No mentioning of it in Indian media. India had to demand "NO CONNECTION TO ANY PEDOPHILE RINGS" certificate issued by Indian high commission in London, for every visiting MP,Ministers, businessmen and other do gooders.
Re: Indo-UK News and Discussion - April 2013
All this while, the London and Europe people have been lecturing others on values and ethics even when their most powerful - and also the most moral keeper place - have curse of pedophilia within. And these are the people selling education potential to others, but not able to cleanse the curse off by themselves.

British nationals convicted for paedophilia arrested by Mumbai police
NDTV Correspondent, Updated: March 21, 2011
New Delhi: British nationals Duncan Grant and Alan Waters, who were charged with sexual abuse of minor children at the Anchorage shelter home for street children in Mumbai, were arrested by the city police today.
Grant, 67, and Allan, 63, were arrested from the Mahatma Phule Nagar slum in Cuffe Parade of South Mumbai, senior Inspector at Colaba police station Vinod Sawant said.
After conducting a medical test on the duo at the G T hospital, police produced them before a Sessions Court where the two said that police had taken them into custody, though they themselves wanted to surrender.
"Police prevented us from surrendering before the court and they arrested us", Grant said in the court.
However, the court said they could contest it at the proper forum.
As soon as they were brought to the court, judge D R Shirsao said, "You are already informed why you are arrested, you will have to undergo the remaining jail term and the warrant is also issued."
Their advocate Tariq Sayyed also moved an application in the court contending that Grant and Waters were arrested even before they could surrender.
On Friday, the Supreme Court had overturned their acquittal by the Bombay High Court. (Read: Supreme Court convicts 2 British nationals for paedophilia)
The men, who ran the shelter, had been convicted by a trial court in 2006 after five minor boys from the shelter testified against them. But in 2008, the Bombay High Court had acquitted them, saying the six-year jail term awarded was too harsh a penalty.
The Bombay High Court had doubted the authenticity of the witnesses who testified against Grant and Waters. But the Supreme Court said, "The analysis of the prosecution witness confirms the fact these three used to have sex with children."
The Supreme Court order also applied to Indian national William D Souza, who worked at the shelter and had also been convicted.

Now I get the reason for why the "Asian" (aka Baki) groomers were left untouched for so long. The people who are supposed to prosecute them and protect the children themselves are involved in grooming.
What an effed up society. Long time back during the Henry VII era, there is a constant reference to people doing it with goats since they were unable to find women/boys to do it with. This is referred to frequently in the series Black Adder for example.
The crust of the Brishit society is very Baki/ISIS like. They predate on children and vulnerable folks, they used to use goats as objects of pleasure and also for consumption etc.
Its is all beginning to make sense now.

^^^ THere is an interesting comment left there by someone. It says that before 1857 many atrocities by Malsic folks were highlighted in our history school books. After 1857 war, most of it was focused on CONmen and Gandhi. Basically we have been trained since school days to be CON party members.
Looking back I completely agree with him/her. Our history book is an advertizement for CON party. It diminishes the contribution of others and also completely ignores the atrocities and the evil that was the Brishit colonization of India. Getting a complete holistic picture of Brishit - raj and its impact on India was left as an exercise by the reader (and his/her environment).
Thus I grew up believing that the Brishits were good, they united us, gave us Angrezi, gave us rail road, banned "sutteeeee" etc, and that made me say things like "I wish we were still under Brishit occupation" when I barely started understanding politics in India (15 y/o).
I feel that my childhood was a big joke, I was lied to and cheated by CON party. My level of disgust of that abomination has now gone up by an order of magnitude. That party, its legacy and its machinery must forever be destroyed for India to be truly free.

Re: Indo-UK News and Discussion - April 2013
From that article:
The current generations of Brishits have benefited economically and politically from the system of loot that their ancestors had put in place for them. They may not have directly benefited from their ancestors loot, but they are certainly enjoying the ancestral booty indirectly.
The standard argument from a Brishit would be: "I had no choice in this matter, I am not responsible for what my ancestors did". That is a bullshit argument, and the counter argument for that is: "If you agree that your ancestors did loot, then you are enjoying the result of their loot, directly or indirectly. Please stop that immediately and redeem whatever loot your ancestors got for you with interest".
There is a real need to put Brishits in their place, and to extract redemption from them. That is the last step for de-colonization of the Indian mind.
I disagree with the highlighted part above. I can understand the need to be secular. No Indian of whatever background, religious (Abrahamism) or cultural (Dharmic) should ever be held responsible for the atrocities of their co-religionists from abroad. That does not and should not extend to everyone who has harmed India in the near past. But denial leads to the repressed truth finding expression in ugly forms, resulting in hatred and anger, as we see in some parts of India today. It’s healthier to accept the truth and learn to handle it. Forgive, but do not forget. We should have detailed sections in our history books on the famines caused by British policies; and also on the massive British drug-smuggling business. We should honestly teach Indian students the truth about the horrific brutality of medieval Turkic invaders.
But we must also teach that history should not extend itself into the present and colour our evaluations of a people today. For example, we don’t need to settle scores with today’s British for the actions of their ancestors. And furthermore, if Indian Christians are not blamed for British excesses just because the British happened to be Christians, why should Indian Muslims be blamed for the vicious Turkic/Mongol/Persian conquests, just because these foreigners happened to be Muslims? We were slaves under foreign rule for 800 years. Let’s not blame our fellow Indians for the crimes of those barbaric foreigners.
Many civilisations have at some point of time been victims, and at other times, oppressors. Present conduct rather than past ills should determine the way a people are judged today.
The current generations of Brishits have benefited economically and politically from the system of loot that their ancestors had put in place for them. They may not have directly benefited from their ancestors loot, but they are certainly enjoying the ancestral booty indirectly.

LokeshC ji,
the author is wrong as he holds individuals or past generations responsible for the brutality and oppression, and wants to give current generation a free pass. One has to see whether the culprit is ideology, then the ideology needs to be cleansed from current generation as well. Secondly robbed goods need to be returned, even if one is willing to forgive current generation, and if the robbed goods are not there, then there should be compensation. Also we want to see remorse, continuous remorse for past deeds. None of it is forthcoming till now, so that author can shove that article in the netherregions!

Re: Indo-UK News and Discussion - April 2013
^^^ Agree. The author, though well meaning, errs in believing that such brutality is a thing of the past and was unique to those individuals in history. The ideology that gave rise to that brutality is still alive and kicking, present dudes are proud of not only the ideology but also the brutal dudes in history (who are considered heroes by the present dudes), the ideology is spreading, its aims remain the same. Actually, those brutal individuals in history were a symptom of the ideology -- if such ideology remains the same even today, then the same type of individuals would keep getting created again and again (just look at Kashmir or North East). The danger is still very much alive -- but the author pretends as if the past brutality was an aberration unique to those times and Hindus should get over it now so that "everything becomes OK." Gandhi had the same remedy and it ended up creating Pakistan because he could never understand that the problem is not with individuals but with ideology.

RajeshAji and SanjayCji,
That last couple of paragraphs is where the author "lost the plot", and in doing so he tells us that he is not out of the woods yet as far as colonial looting and mass murder is concerned. While he is far ahead of most DIEs, RNIs and sepoys, his mind is still colonized and the last few paras are the result of that "dhimmification".
I agree with you that we need to "Hinduize" abrahamic religions and make their levers of control within India instead of being from outside India (I do not know if that is even possible given their nature).
Redemption in terms of money and in terms of remorse of the current generation is really not necessary for freedom of mind of Indians. However, the last step of de-colonizing oneself is the realization that the Brishits should be made to pay and to make an attempt for that.
Once a large majority of India reaches that stage, there will be huge pressure on GoI to act, and the day it does act towards getting redemption would be the day India would have truly de-colonized itself. At that time, whatever be the result of the process, most Indians will see themselves as completely independent from the influence of the Brishits. The need for getting "approval from the gora" will not exist anymore. That state is true decolonization of Indian mind.

Child abuse cases are 'tip of the iceberg' in sexual exploitation of young people, said Theresa May

Home Secretary Theresa May said sexual exploitation of children is rife
Nigel Morris
Sunday 23 November 2014
The cases of child abuse exposed so far are only the “tip of the iceberg” of the extent of sexual exploitation of young people, the Home Secretary Theresa May has warned.
Ms May spoke of her dismay over the number of abusers who have been able to operate with impunity both in the past and today.
She said it was impossible to assess whether the activities of a paedophile ring involving senior figures in public life were covered up in the 1980s, but insisted an independent inquiry into historical sex abuse would establish the full facts.
“It’s not possible to say whether there was a cover-up, that is why I think it is so important we have the inquiry so we get at the truth,” she told the Andrew Marr Show.
“There is a real issue here about how was it that in the past, but continuing today, the very institutions of the state that should be protecting children were not doing so. Why was it these abuses were able to take place and nobody was brought to justice as a result of that?”
She added: “We must, as a society... get to the truth of that and because I think we we’ve already seen revealed is the tip of the iceberg on this issue.”
Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, the Metropolitan Police commissioner, pledged that the full truth of sex abuse claims – as well as a new allegation that a boy was murdered by paedophiles in the 1980s – would be established by his officers.
He told the programme that it would be “silly to speculate whether there was a cover–up”. He added: “As an investigator you have to go with an open mind, if people make that allegation I will take it seriously. But I can assure you there will be no cover-up while I’m here.”

He said the 40 detectives looking into the fresh claims were often confronted by a huge mountain of paperwork involving thousands of boxes as well as the “real challenge” of filling in the gaps when files were missing.
“There are a series of claims over quite a long period of time and not all of them are linked, although in the public imagination they may be in that it is child abuse,” he said.
“You have got the extra complication of people in power and was there a cover-up? I’m determined we will get to the bottom of this so we are talking to the witnesses and all the people who have got information.”
Sir Bernard said: “I think everyone will understand that this long after the event it can be quite hard to get to the bottom of the claims and complaints. We will do but it can take a little long than people might expect.”

Westminster sex abuse scandal: Ex-Cabinet minister 'was photographed in the sauna with a naked boy at Elm Guest House'
Tory MP Zac Goldsmith said photos of establishment figures and evidence of abuse ‘evaporated’ after police raid
LOULLA-MAE ELEFTHERIOU-SMITH Friday 28 November 2014
A former cabinet minster was photographed with a naked boy in the sauna of notorious guest house at the centre of the historic Westminster child abuse allegations, it has been claimed.
Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith has alleged that a series of photographs of “establishment figures” that had visited the guest house, along with logbooks, names, times and dates detailing their attendance, had been kept by one of the Elm Guest House owners.
Carol Kasir, one of the owners of the guest house, had told a child protection campaigner that she had owned photographs of the guest house’s visitors, where boys in care had been “brought in for sex”, Mr Goldsmith claimed in Parliament on Thursday.

Mr Goldsmith claimed that Ms Kasir died a few years later in “very odd circumstances”.

In a backbench debate into the progress of the Government’s inquiry into historic sex abuse, Mr Goldsmith told the Commons: “When Ms Kasir died a few years after the house was raided in very odd circumstances, a child protection campaigner from the National Association of Young People in Care called for a criminal investigation into events at Elm Guest House.
“He said that he’d been told by Ms Kasir that boys had been brought in from the local children’s home, in Richmond also, Grafton Place, had been brought in for sex.
“And that she had all kinds of photographs of establishment figures at her hotel,” he said.
“One of them allegedly showed a former cabinet minister in the sauna with a naked boy.
“She had logbooks, names, times, dates, pictures of her customers and so on.
“All that evidence simply disappeared after the raid. It no longer exists.
“That surely is astonishing,” he said.

Police are currently conducting an investigation into a “possible homicide” in connection with its inquiry into a paedophile ring with links to Parliament.
Last week a senior detective who worked had worked on an unsolved case of child murder in the 1980s said she feared there could have been a “cover up,” and that she sometimes felt there had been “a feeling of misuse of power” surrounding allegations of the Westminster paedophile ring.

So, the Intelligence Service, MI-5, was facilitating this pedophilia ring?? to what end?
On 28 November 2012, an alleged victim of sexual abuse by Smith waived his right to anonymity in a television interview with Sky News to say that he was sexually abused by Smith at a council-run residential special school. Chris Marshall broke down in tears during his interview when describing the sexual abuse he said took place at Knowl View school in Rochdale in the early 1980s. He said that as a nine-year-old boy he was taken to a room and made to perform oral sex on Smith and one other man. Smith was a governor at the school and allegedly had his own set of keys. Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg said: "I am deeply shocked and horrified by these terrible allegations and my thoughts are with the victims who had the courage to speak out."[39]
In November 2012, Tony Robinson, a former special branch officer with Lancashire Police in the 1970s, said that a dossier of sexual abuse allegations against Smith which police claimed was "lost" was actually seized by MI5. Robinson said that he was asked by MI5 to send to London a police dossier that had been kept in a safe in his office which he said was "thick" with allegations from boys claiming they had been abused by Smith.[40]
In December 2012, Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk alleged that Smith raped some of his victims. Danczuk said: "There is no doubt that Cyril Smith seriously sexually abused young boys: why the CPS didn't prosecute more recently is puzzling."[41]
Following claims by MP Tom Watson of "a powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10", it was reported that Scotland Yard detectives investigating the Elm Guest House child abuse scandal were looking into allegations that senior politicians abused children in the 1980s and escaped justice.[42]
In January 2013, The Independent on Sunday reported that police were investigating claims that Smith sexually abused boys at the London guest house.[43]
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police later said: "We can confirm Cyril Smith visited the premises."[44] A 16-year-old boy was allegedly sexually abused by Smith at Elm Guest House.[45]
The MP for Rochdale, Simon Danczuk, said he was convinced that there was a "network of paedophiles" operating in the House of Commons who helped to protect Smith.[45]

VIP paedophile ring 'abused teenage boy INSIDE Buckingham Palace and Balmoral Castle'
A teenage boy working at Buckingham Palace revealed he was groomed and sexually abused by a VIP paedophile ring there.
The lad was also assaulted at the Royal Family’s Scottish retreat Balmoral, according to shocking Home Office files, reports the Sunday People.
In a heartbreaking note, the boy – then just 16 – told how he was the victim of “exploitation of the highest order”.
The chilling claims could now be the subject of a police investigation into historic allegations of child sex abuse in the 1970s and 80s – linked to MPs and powerful figures.
The disturbing account was passed directly to the then Home Secretary Leon Brittan but he ruled it was “not practical” to investigate.
Campaigning Labour MP Tom Watson said: “I’m sure the Palace will want to co-operate with any inquiry.”
Mr Dickens said at the time: “The boy told his parents he had been sexually abused by members of the Royal Household at the Palace.

Claims about Al-Hijrah school are being investigated by council officials
RICHARD GARNER Tuesday 02 December 2014
Council officials in Birmingham are investigating claims that a trust running the city’s first-ever Islamic school spent £1 million of public money funding a new school in Pakistan.
The allegations concern the Al-Hijrah school, a voluntary-aided state funded school for four to 18-year-olds which was set up in 1999 and run by a trust.
The school was at the centre of controversy earlier this year when it was placed in special measures after an inspection by education standards watchdog Ofsted declared it to be “inadequate”.
An interim board was appointed by Birmingham City Council to run the school after the entire governing body was sacked after it was revealed its budget was £900,000 in the red. It was initially refused entry to the school by the previous regime running it but has now taken over.
Now it is understood the council is investigating claims that the Trust used public money to help fund a new £1 million boys’ only boarding school in the city of Ziarat in Pakistan at a time when the school in Birmingham was in dire need of improvement.
According to the minutes of its meeting in September, it discovered: 14 members of staff were without contracts, seven were still working there even though their contracts had expired and 29 had not had Criminal Record Bureau checks.
“There are a number of teachers with no teacher reference number but receiving qualified teacher salary,” they add.
Ofsted will issue a report that is expected to criticise some of the schools David Hoare plays a key role in The school was put in special measures after an Ofsted report The document said that staff had left but their pay had not been stopped.
Staff from a neighbouring academy, Calthorpe, were drafted into the school to help it deal with its staffing crisis.
Birmingham City Council officials said they were concerned over the “severe” deficit in the school’s budget and had carried out a retrospective investigation into the financial records of the former governing body.
“We have gathered enough information to warrant further investigation into the use of public funds and we continue to work with the relevant statutory agencies,” a spokesman added,
A spokeswoman for the Department for Education said: “We are aware of these serious allegations which are being investigated by Birmingham City Council. We are liaising closely with them and continue to monitor the situation.
“The school is currently in special measures and we have approved the council’s choice of interim executive board.”
The Ofsted report on the school said the achievement of five to 11-year-olds was “inadequate”, adding: "Pupils do not make sufficient progress and in some cases the standard of their work declines.”
It added: “More than half of the parents and carers who responded to a questionnaire felt that their child was not taught well.
“The quality of teaching overall is inadequate...the significant amount of weak teaching means leaders are unable to guarantee pupils will maintain the standards achieved in 2013.”
So far police have not been called in to investigate the claims but the city council is understood to be prepared to involve them if it finds any evidence of criminal activity.
Al-Hijrah was not one of the 21 schools in the city involved in the “Trojan Horse” inquiry which looked at allegations that school governing bodies were being taken over by hard-line Islamists.

Churchill was instrumental in establishing the illegal starvation blockade of Germany. The blockade depended on scattering mines, and classified as contraband food for civilians. But, throughout his career, international law and the conventions created to limit the horrors of war meant nothing to Churchill. One of the consequences of the hunger blockade was that, while it killed 750,000 German civilians by hunger and malnutrition, the youth who survived went on to become the most fanatical Nazis.
