Well done Arun bhai!
Re: ***** BR interview on Australian Radio *****
Dunno about y'all, but as a BR admin, I'm effing proud to say that Arun was the most articulate of the bunch... Said everything there was to say in the short time available...
George, you've a point there... but I guess the guy is busy and so just mumbled something to get the Aussi rep off his back... ISRO must outsource this stuff off to BR Space. If they listen to the recording, they prolly will...

Thanks folks for your appriciation, but I was not alone. I must thank friends who helped prep for it, else I had no time doing it in the middle of the most stressful business trip of last 2 weeks.
Cheers....

JoBatra: Thanks. When are you going to be in town for BR meet?
Re: ***** BR interview on Australian Radio *****
Good show Arun.
The request for an interview actually came via Seetal as webmaster and we all felt Arun was best suited (Armani suited booted) to tackle it.
One of the concerns was how much spin would be put to say how "a starving nation is spending on space weapons" - while in fact India has invested a greater percentage of its space budget on civilian apps than any other country on earth or in space.
MOST of India's space work is - as Arun indicated - for civilian use - disaster manegement,, crop patterns, minerals, weather, communtcation, "grameen" education etc.

Hi Arun,
I read the transcript of the interview, and folks we have done a really good job.
" People say it’s a poor country, but again, the easiest way to address poverty is not by giving fish to the people but telling the people how to catch the fish. "
Brillant choice of words!
Dude, you deserve a medal!
