Are you sure about the granularity to each polling station? I think they aggregate at a particular block and then give the results per blockSachin wrote: ↑19 Apr 2024 14:57That was a proposal. There was a scheme to have a totalizer device which could get data from multiple EVMs and then give a consolidated figure. But there was a strong feeling that, during the totalization data could be manipulated (and there will not be much evidence left for trace back). So this does not happen now. The data from each polling station is available for each political party, and that is how certain governments do gerrymandering (shuffling constituencies based on polling patterns).nandakumar wrote: ↑19 Apr 2024 13:42 I recall that EVMs would be pooled and votes cast would be tabulated for the pooled machines.

London Lectures: Tells India To Pull People Out Of Poverty
"The need for India to grow and pull people out of poverty is great," Foreign Secretary David Cameron said during his meddling into India's internal affairs at the britshit parliament on Wednesday (April 18).
India reduced extreme poverty from 12.2% in 2011 to just 2% in 2023, according to the Headcount Poverty Ratio. Meanwhile, absolute poverty in the UK stands at 18%, according to govt figures.
8% of UK citizens are suffering insecurity, and 11% are unable to heat their homes.

EVMs sent to each polling booth is tracked. And there would be polling agents/party representatives at the counting centers as well. In the place where I stay now; we had a huge residential layout (made by state government) who kind of voted enmasse for one candidate. For the next Municipal elections, the layout was made part of three different wards (so that their votes would get split). The results may be given at block level, but counting can be tracked at polling booth level.

Dilbuji - Please post your Jinx here urgentlyWe had accurately gauged that Coimbatore, Chennai South and Chennai Central will breach 2019 levels. As of 7 pm, Coimbatore clocked 71. 17% (we had predicted 72%). Last elections it was 63%. A massive jump of 8%. This is the Annamalai effect. Chennai South, the polling was 67.82%. In 2019, it was 57%. A jump of 10%. Can only be attributed to Tamilisai. In Chennai Central, it is 67.35%. In 2019, it was 58.98%. An 8% jump attributable to Vinoj K Selvam. So we rest our case on a positive swing for BJP.

Re: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 - World's largest elections - Desh Ka Garv [World's envy]
It is difficult to generate same level of enthusiasm and energy amongst both cadre and voters when you are the two time incumbent and every poll seems to be suggesting a cakewalk for your party. This might be further adversely affected due to the heat. We are already seeing reports of lower voting percentage in some areas like RJ, MH and Bihar. Of course merely a lower voting percentage tells us nothing. If the decline is amongst all voters regardless of party it won't matter much. Let's hope that is the case.KL Dubey wrote: ↑19 Apr 2024 01:44How is this any different from 2014 and 2019 elections ? A major reason for BJP success in 2014 and 2019 was indeed the ground level organization that worked to get the voters out to the booth. Modi and Shah have always been closely connected with the organization during the LS elections, and from the number of publicized meetings this year, it is no different. Modi has been exhorting BJP workers to get the voters out in every meeting. Even from 2014 I remember Modi's slogan in every rally "pehle matdaaan phir jalpaan" (basically asking voters to get it done first thing in the morning). 2004 is ancient history. BJP of today is not anywhere similar to what it was then - and the opposition is currently a shadow of what it was in 2004.nachiket wrote: ↑18 Apr 2024 12:27 However the not so good news for the BJP is regarding the expected heat waves during election season. He cited some analysis which predicts that on some election days the temperature in many seats could be over 40 degrees which would translate into a lower turnout.
The "400 paar" slogan was specifically to reduce complacency. If the cadre thinks the election is already won it can backfire spectacularly. On the other hand, if you give them an extremely difficult target you might get them roused enough to work harder. Theoretically at least.

There is a concerted effort to show Buddhism as different from Sanatan Dharma. Firstly they removed the original Gautama Buddha from Bihar who existed around 1800 BC and replaced him with another Buddha from Nepal. Read this https://www.stephen-knapp.com/were_ther ... uddhas.htm WikiLiePeddlar tells the rest of the world of this fake stuff and furthermore the newly created Buddha died around 950 BC. Nations like Myanmar have detailed records going back to 1800 BC but they ignore those and keep shoving China and other nations into the picture. Of course this hoax of Ashoka is another canard perpetuated by the BritShits.
The original 4 headed lion emblem dates much back and it originally represented the Yazhi lion with piercing teeth and ferocious roar. The idea was that they protected the kingdom in all four directions. The Kangress and Britshits removed the original Yazhi lion and made it docile looking and for good measure they slapped Buddhism into the picture to show the rest how peaceful Buddhists are compared to the ferocious Hindu. What bullcrap created by Neverwho, the Deep State (they were behind the BritshitRaj) and other global fakers.

TN voting turnout revised downwards to 69% from 72% being reported yesterday somehow. Chennai is the biggest culprit - South and Central Chennai only recorded 54% and 53% respectively. Coimbatore (Annamalai's seat) which was being mentioned at >70% yesterday is now only at 64%. Some of the earlier higher estimates had been mentioned by the TN Elections CEO himself on TV. AT 7pm yesterday even AIR had reported Coimbatore at 71% and Chennai South at 67%. I don't understand what happened here.

Madhavi Latha got the EC to remove +5lakhs of "non existent voters" from the voters list before the elections. This was done by combing through the existing voter's lists and weeding out the dead, fake and beedi/rohingiya scum with "locally issued papers"
The beardo "barrister" is gobsmacked as he benefitted the maximum from these "non existent voters".

She is a bit eccentric, loud, over emotional and hyper reactive. But that's exactly what's needed in that part of the world. You can find dime a dozen street fighters in Hyderabad BJP, but they are not literate enough or know that society as well as Madhavi Lathaji does. Perhaps she knows old city even better than Owaisis or muslim elites.
Her candidature and aggressive campaigning style has already yielded good dividends :
- Owaisi has been forced to stop campaigning across India and focus on saving his own seat
- MIM & Congress alliance is now out in the open. No more BJP b-team or covert alliance rubbish.
- Deleting those 1/2 million bogus votes on whose strength, Owaisi keeps winning.
- Going to places where no candidate - either BJP or MIM or any political party had ever visited, just because they were so dirty & disgusting. MIM's 40-year track record is now out in the open.
Owaisi is being brutally exposed all over the nation as a feudal, elitist exploiter of his own community - especially women & poor.

Terrible voting percentage in Hindi belt and MH in Round 1. Complacency. Maybe the cadres are over confident.
Re: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 - World's largest elections - Desh Ka Garv [World's envy]
Is this about Phase 1 polls? From what I read the Phase 1 polls were in regions where BJP/NDA was generally not strong. And today (20/04/2024) there were no Lok Sabha elections any where. So which constituencies in MH and Hindi belt are we discussing about?
Re: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 - World's largest elections - Desh Ka Garv [World's envy]
Phase 1 only. Primarily BH, UP, RJ, MP and MH. Although pro-BJP channels are confident of victory, IMO a large drop in voting percentage makes it uncertain as accurate prediction becomes difficult. I will call this 5 states in phase 1 as uncertain. We will have a better idea when exit polls come out.

One thing I don't understand is why push elections into core Summer heat of the month of June and later half of May. By mid may everything should be done and core voting should not extend beyond first week of May except in cooler parts of India.
Re: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 - World's largest elections - Desh Ka Garv [World's envy]
Apart from other commentators, here is Pradeep Singh's excellent analysis of Phayze 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__dhAXIBTcc
There is not a whole lot to be inferred from "low voter turnout". Apart from a few seats in BH, most of these areas are already very strong for NDA. 1 lakh+ margins can be reduced by 3-4% less turnout but the result won't change.
E.g., In western UP the 2019 distribution was 3-3-2 for BJP/SP/BSP. This time the alignments are towards a 6-2 NDA/Dotdot at minimum, and quite possibly 8-0.
Net finding is that NDA will likely gain 20-25 seats over last time. People are clutching at straws to find some reason to worry.
Personally I think NDA will cross 400, and BJP will get about 330-340 seats.

There are no "accurate predictions" of any kind possible between now and June 1 - nothing to do with voter turnout. Exit poll results are banned and this time there are no people like Dr. BB doing model-based predictions. We do have a few commentators with ears close to the ground that can give some idea.Supratik wrote: ↑20 Apr 2024 18:31 Phase 1 only. Primarily BH, UP, RJ, MP and MH. Final Phase 1 turnouts are 68.8% (2014), 69.6% (2019), and 68.3% (2024). I don't really see a significant change.
