My first new post (actually I created a poll). Just like there is the MARCOS & NSG photo thread, I thought it would be a good idea to capture some photos of other efforts from ordinary people to organized groups - aam admi, fire fighters, volunteers, police, army etc.

Admins: Please delete this if it is not appropriate. TIA

Again no discussions, just photos to capture the work being done. I will start with one:

Following pictures from Brisbane Times.

A policeman walked with an elderly man after one attack at a railway station. Unlike previous attacks in India this year, which consisted of anonymously planted bombs, the assailants on Wednesday night were spectacularly well-armed and very confrontational.

TSriram: Even the sources where I have taken these pictures have not credited their sources. And some of the pictures have been splashed in several websites.

Great pics.Swamy, excellent idea.I think for posterity,BR should make a CD of this tragic historic event for posterity and to remind every Indian of this fateful day 26/11.A similar CDE was made after 9/11.The CD could be released during the coming air show at Bangalore and the proceeds going to the affected families of those security forces killed and injured.

Shiv.A vital task for you to coordinate. We mad 4an excellent CD of the last air show,we must preserve this outrage for posterity to document such devotion to duty and patriotism of the security forces and ordinary citizens.
