How about (another) BR Meet in Delhi during the DEF EXPO 2010 ? I think it is in mid Feb. I plan to attend this time as I missed it the last time. We did have a BR Meet in Delhi during DEF EXPO, many dozens of full moons ago. During the last (few !) DEF EXPO I tried to have a meet which resulted in just "Raj Malhotra" and myself spending an interesting evening.

6.30 pm will be dark and where in central park ?? it is better to think of a fixed / definite place where one can assemble and sit for some time... and have a few eats/drinks.. as a person who has organised quite a BR meets in the past ( and also passes for defexpo)... i can recommend govardhan ( near IIT Delhi ) .. they have a great place to sit downstairs and for as long as we want...

where is the vakil saheb from supreme court and the small arms specialist??

1) Its getting cold and dark for the central park.
2) its a stones throw away!

Although it may not appeal to many.

The venue has just been shifted to Govardhan, near IIT at 6.30 pm. manjgu - please give exact location.

Anyone having problem with the venue in terms of reaching it may please let me know. I may be able to offer shuttle service from CP/India Gate.

Well the directions are as under >

if you are travelling from IIT to Qutub Minar , you first cross Essex Farms ( restaurant..to your left) and then Mothers school ( on your left).. then there is a redlight... 300 meters ahead there is another redlight ( adhchini red light which is a T junction, right turn goes towards Qutub Institutional area)... from this redlight take a U turn again towards IIT.. 200 meters from the redlight ( after making the u turn) on your left is govardhan restaurant... there is a guard outside, who helps you park on the busy street...

Is this that underground hookah bar with 16 year old PYTs and desp IITD nerds?

no 16yr PYT or IIT D nerds and its no hookah bar...

its pure and simbly ( yes simbly) a south indian place.. the room below is usally vacant / air conditioned..

no alcohol in govardhan.. and you cant bring in your food/drinks.

this place is reasonably centrally located ... if anyone is coming from south delhi side, i can give a lift..
for any non earning member /student in the BR meet ( i will pay for your food/drinks )) atleast thats been the tradition till date !!)
