Finally the BRF Delhi meet took place today and ended about 15 minutes ago.

It was good to catch up with people (8 in total) whose online avtars are all that one knew about them.
Talked about various topics and got a generous invite for a jingos marriage and ate wholesome south-indian, north-indian and indian-chinese.

Most of the people were either new or non-contributors on BRF.

given the top secret nature of the meeting/ and issues discussed we decided not to take photos... lest it generate some further controversy ( if ineed it was delhi BR meet or not) !! the meeting details will be declassified after 50 years.

Did you check the venue for any bugs ?

Did you see anybody with a heavy topcoat and a slouching hat ?

Did the man on the adjoining table asked for a martini, shaken not stirred ?

Do you notice that your waiter looked similar to your taxi driver who brought you to the venue ?

O boy you are in trouble man. You are in deeeeeep shiiiiiit

now that you mention it, there was a jingo trying to peddle Lashkar literature to us.
we resisted forcefully, but finally manjgu fell for the grandeur visions of the 72 houris!

Next time be prepared. I do not know what you like,
I prefer a the good old MP 5 and Colt .45 with some frag grenades.
And do not forget your BPJ, good ones, not the ones bought by the Mumbai Police

Hi Friends

Sorry for a late mail. It was great meeting all the people at the meet - the first BR meet for me.
As per the veteran Mr manjgu, with an attendance of 8 people the meet can be considered as one of the most successful meet of the BRF. He could only remember one more meet many light years ago which had 12 jingos attending it.

The discussions were pretty intense with copious amount of paneer and assorted starters washed down with chai, etc simultaneously. The topic of discussions ranged from reasons of global economic problems (one very gyani jingo gave good info :)) to the recent exit of our dear Arun_s to why ask for northy food in a southy restaurant. One jingo was really disappointed to find that none present at the meet was actually from the forces thereby crashing his pre conceived notion that the great insight (as he believed atleast) that he reads into topics at BRF are direct from horses mouth!!
Another jingo hoped that atleast one of the memebers was a lady. he conveniently saw the possibility of a womanish hint in the handle of one of the members!! Talk about conspiracy finders.
The real name of one of the person turned out to be 180 degree from his handle on the forum. Some of the people had travelled quite a distance to be at the meet while one was happy that the meet was at walkable distance from his place. It was mutually decided that the next meet shall be such that the distance is max for this jingo to cover :)
Two people had army background - as in their father was in the armed forces.
The profile of the attendies ranged from investment anaylst, to IT wallah to auto maker to a dcotor Sahib.

May more such meet happen.
