Hi JCage,

Can you put together a photo essay of the indigenous systems and Indian companies at Aero India for the next SRR issue?

The photo essay format is here. You can shoot for 10-15 photos with captions of about 50 words each.

Once again *only* indigenous systems absolutely no outside stuff.

The next SRR issue is slated for release on April 30th 2005.

In terms of referencing the only thing you will to keep is the photo credit. If possible use only photos on this thread and on BR that way the copy right is covered.

regards
Sunil

Recommended res is 1024x768. Well, actually 800x600 is best for actually viewing the pages but 1024x768 is best for the full size pics themselves. Can't think of a theme song yet. How about "links 2 3 4" ? :D

Sunil sure! But gimme a couple of weeks- the format is pretty straightforward and the captions wont be a prob.
Just have another BR project to wrap up which my comp seems dead set against.

Harry,

Splendid as always. BTW, the HJT-36 chapter repeatedly refers to "AI-55" --- I think you mean "AL-55". Keep 'em coming!

Hi JCage,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Shoot for March 30 and pick photos carefully (don't put Su-30 photos and the like - there is enough of that out there already).

That way caption load will be minimum.

email me at breadomlette at yahoo dot com for further discussion.

I am thinking next time BR needs to form a special JTF to photo all the
info boards in high res under a direct PMO mandate.

Most of the real meat seems to be in these boards.

Looks like a stripped down Durg. The nets are to measure deviation and CEP, if any. The brahmos neatly penetrated the hull and exited.

B Harry: the man of immeasurable mystery and intrigue...

Hmm... your images on ACIG don't have any EXIF information, and I don't know what sort of cameras you can get in India, so I'll play it safe and say Canon Powershot A10 procured through barter on the black market. ;)

I'm trying to save up for a used Sony DSC-F828... hopefully in a few years I'll have enough :D

That's not even remotely funny!

Why stop there? You could've said Nokia 7610.

You do get the Sony DSC-F828 in India, for around Rs.70,000 in retail.

Calmala holmes, its just like 20 questions! Start low, cover all bases, and then go up!

See, now I know for certain that the photos were indeed taken by camera, and not daguerreotype or ASCII, etc. Image

Manish,

You have a larger picture of this dude?
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/virtualsu ... pg&.src=ph

I want to confirm that the patch he is wearing is 551 B or INAS 300.
The design looks like 551B but only the lettering will confirm it for sure

Harry, you listening?

Jagan

Karnik, which day was this taken on? I did'nt even see the guy at the show. Also, how do we view the full size pics?

Jagan, could it be that he was just a temp delegate from INAS-551B? :D

But for all we know, the two a/c could have already been rotated since there are no permanent FRS.51 residents in the Braves and generically, they are always White Tigers.

Of course, Karnik can clear our doubts if he spoke to this person regarding the participating SHARs.
