I thought the last meeting was very good. When you eliminate alcohol and reduce the food requirements and hold the meeting in daylight hours a lot more people - and many of the younger "future of India" jingos are more likely to be around. I am currently free at that time - but need to know the possible venue.

Aren't we going to have another one in 4 months for AI-11 ? That sure will be bigger.

I am living alone. So my place is there. Two bed room house with a big hall. I agree with Sivahi that if we reduce/remove drinks then cost will be less. You can use my house. I am free after 3pm on saturday. My house is near Vijaya Nagar.

@ shiv saar this "young" jingo is always eager for a meet i will be there and rao saar vijaynagar is a stones throw away from where i stay but it might be difficult for others as it is not central bangalore :p

Shiv, the daylight meet sounds good. We did that in Mumbai where a senior member did the cooking as his SHQ was away.It was fun but we could not get eliminate the beer..so...
Anyways,be careful as VikB will 'flash' Bangalore....

^^ ha ha... Daylight meet with some beer and good kebabs on a weekend sounds awesome.

Problem is Kapil - when one has been a boozer for longer than the age of many BRFites - some of whom are students and some of whom don't have transport the gyan dawns on one that a dry daytime meet can be more fun with more young jingos.

Vignesh - you are the only one that I know out of the BR Bangaluru group plus I have no clue of the place's geography. Will call you soon for nitty gritties. You can please take the phone numbers of all here as a start.

A bit of daru surely helps for inspiration purposes I suggest the way we did in Mumbai meet - a few carry booze and rest split the tab. Some can get the snacks.

House is appx 2 KM from Maruthi Mandira Bus Stand of Vijaya Nagar. It is also walkable distance from Skyline Apartments at Chandra Layout which is a land mark in the layout.

There is a Big Vinayaka Temple is there in the Canara Bank colony with is in the 2nd Cross Road. Opp to that temple there is one play ground and on the other side of the play ground there is Vegetables shop (some OFCOM shop) my house is opp to that shop. I am in the first floor of the house and ground floor owners are there.

Shiv,I think that it is past time to start BR plg. for Aero-India 2011.This time we should have more goodies at the BR stall.Perhaps a few could even write a few articles and cobble together a BR pre-show feature.We had AM Philip Rajkumar and his book on the LCA at our stall last time.Could you network with the "usual suspects" so that we put on a good show yet again?

If I come up Chord road from Mysore road - is there any landmark that can tell me where to turn left off Chord road?

1 start from kempegowda bus terminus
2 go to mysore road & continue till kavika factory
3 take a right to chord road , go straight ( metro work is in progress )
4 take a left at the PETROL BUNK ( shiv is this what you were asking ?) towards chandra layout, and this is the only junction on that road where you can either go straight or take a left - you cant take a right
5 go straight till you reach dominoes pizza or a HP petrol bunk
6 call any mujahid from here to personally escort you

Is the venue Narayana Rao Sir's house? The destination address shows up as Jayanagar but the map shows the destination to be no where close to Jayanagar but Vijayanagar unless i am mistaken.However count me in as well.
