Probably the show is over. Everyone is roaming around the Taj now with fire tenders trying to hose down the corner of the hotel.

The person on CNN was Sashank Gohel or Suresh Gohel (S Gohel for sure). He gave a good presentation of the Indian viewpoint.

The field reporters look like "kids" just rambling on and on pointlessly, with "uh" as the prime pronunciation in all that rambling. Also, I think if the Press cannot discipline itself to not report live events as they occur, they dont deserve the access they are getting - they should be moved out of sight of the operation so no one reports any live action.

Or alternatively, as someone suggested, send them into the Taj, and let them report from there - much like human robot recce vehicles

Pathetic is the only word - for the field reporting - at least they should consider that every soldier who is part of this operation, also has some family somewhere - and they are threatening his safety and the success of the whole operation.

Guys there is a stray dog on NDTV screen, barking in the background of the reporter talking about smoke and fire at Taj.

Samuel,

It is in one of these links, most likely, the second link, where the terrorist sounds a bit doubtful when saying 'Mumbai',otherwise, he is pretty calm and conversational.

They were originally posted by gurunandan, in the first version of thread. In that post, there were 2 links and it was in the first of the two. This one has 3 links, hence not sure but likely 2nd (or 3rd).

"Lashkar-e-Taiba is not known to have singled out Westerners in past terrorist attacks, as the gunmen in Mumbai seem to have done. On CNN's Larry King: Somebody must have talked some sense to Deepak Chopra. He seems to be reasonable today. But our dear Amanpour bring in Hindu majority and grievances of Indian Muslims when Deepak talks about why Islam is in the center of global terrorism.

Are u sure its a piglet... it may be an innocent occupant of the room.. lets wait for the confirmation.. if its indeed a piglet.. that would be my wallpaper tommorow.

BTW: TimesNow giving out details on FireTenders with platform with commandos on it. ALso gave details on the NUMBER of commandos (Rukumani needs to sacked from TimesNow)!

The funny thing is they are saying : From the left side of Taj (obvious question from left side of WHOM you idiot?!!!)

They are giving details that commandos are closing in!!

This is UNACCEPTABLE!
Just confirmed on TimesNow. It was a terrorist.

Why is the timenow reporter taking names on live media of a soldier who is just telling them to move back? pointless, and needless - they are almost hyperventilating on the mike -

NDTV was showing clip of person falling out. It looked more like someone was trying to get out and did so. Hope it was not a piglet and if so, hope he was caught or killed.

Walid Phares refers to "Lashkar-e-Toiba/SIMI". Is SIMI really so associated with LeT to be considered a branch organization?

Weren't they also involved with kidnapping and beheading western tourists from J&K? It was fake group called Al-Faran or Al-Furkan or some such. Something made up like Deccan Mujaheddin.

What is happening now is what happened yesterday

Times Now reporter sees something and say "Operation is over". Other people pick that up and start moving in and bump into surprised security personnel and photograph them and cheer them.

The police battle desperately with crowds to push back jubilant crowds and say "Operation is NOT over yet'. They cannot beat or shoot the crowds who are cheering - led by freelance photographers.

Photos taken are released and we have people saying 'Lack of professionalismmmmmmm! :(( "

Exactly whose professionalism are we talking about? :?:

Th girl is now saying "I can see smiles on the faces of army commandos" Hmmm

Victor I was watching it live. There were two commondos outside that window. The body was thrown out, the commandos just looed at it...no shooting, no dragging the body. - Conclusion - A very dead piglet was thrown out.

The best solution to these terrorists is to let the lynchmob waiting outside inside the Taj,.. they will take care of everything!

Also surprising: Deepti "OOOOOh uHHHH UHHHH" Menon is Times Now Mumbai Bureau. WTF... she is sooo incompetent and divulged everything that a handler can use. WTF!!!!!
