Ramana garu & all,

There is a great analysis done by Raka Sudhakar Rao on how MIM wins in old city and whether it has a fraction of HINDU voters as well in addition to their own Qaum.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzmtIIdLigQ

Don't have time to translate that video for non-telugu viewers.. but if this analysis is true, there is no reason why the Owaisi clan can't be cut down to size with some targeted tactical moves and bringing in stricter polling regulations.

Documentary (in Telugu) on Amaravati Capital Tragedy by Parakala Prabhakar. Non-Telugu people can click on the subtitles. He is husband of Nirmala Sitharaman and was Communications advisor to CBN in TDP Govt. He is economic and social affairs commentator in his own right.

So sad, I had tears in my eyes watching this tragedy.

I'm sceptical about the location on the south bank of flood prone Krishna river, on highly fertile lands (sacrificing productivity) that will not be ideal for heavy construction. If Vijayawada came up on the north bank of Krishna river and the south bank was mostly farmed for centuries, there must be a good natural reason.

CBN some how fell out of favour with Modi. YSR isn't doing any better. From what I hear he appears to be a vengeful Tughlak type idiot. People of AP who vote mostly based on caste considerations will hopefully realise they are getting what they deserve :( and will wise up in future.

hnair wrote: The contest that’s likely to get the most eyeballs is undoubtedly the 100-seat Thiruvananthapuram municipal corporation. That’s because in 2015, it witnessed a fiercely-fought triangular contest between LDF, UDF and BJP. In fact, the BJP shocked everyone by winning 34 of the 100 seats, closely following the LDF which won 42 seats. The UDF was pushed to third position with wins in just 21 seats. This time, the BJP will be hoping to better its performance and even win control of the corporation. If it manages to do that, it will be a national talking-point for a party that has failed to register a sustained growth in Kerala.
The LDF bettered their tally (53 seats) from last time(45 seats), at the cost of Cong, which. BJP did not do as well as expected - gained new but lost old ones, and is at 34 seats. left will get mayorship

My favorite candidate mentioned above won handsomely (huge majority compared to last time), proving that her model of working and sticking with Modi’s developmental message works against Left

Back to the drawing board for the local BJP!

CBN was a scumbag.. Whether dismissing Balakot attacks as fictional propaganda or repeating the cong/commie/Paki version (till recently) that Pulwama attack was orchestrated by Modi himself to get sympathy votes - was purely anti-national.. to their credit neither KCR nor Jagan ever gave out such anti-national statements like CBN & his TDP minions did.

KCR nor Jagan may not have given such statements personally but their minions and supporters did. They are not better than TDP minions. CBN screwed it up. Now Jagan is screwing it up. This 3 capital thing is a Tughluq idea. Parakala is right that even those people who oppose CBN/TDP and opposed Amaravati as capital are now opposing this 3 capital idea.

There is no easy choice here for AP BJP supporters who want to see AP develop. That scumbag CBN made BJP a pariah with his lies and caste media and this scumbag Jagan has lost track with no development and banking wholly on freebies, his caste support and conversions to win next elections. TDP in worst case scenario is finished and best case scenario may improve its tally but will lose again. Jagan will win next election too and continue the same policies. BJP does not have capable mass leaders and cant become a alternative. AP is screwed. Dont know for which papam we are paying karma now.

BJP is making a big move in TG now. One can be sure that TG will have BJP rule or BJP as main opposition at least in 2023. With Jana Sena + BJP NDA in AP will be a good force. CBN personally is the only impediment for any tie-up with BJP. TDP is not going to kick him out as it is now his personal property. BJP will never trust him again. It will also not going to play 2nd fiddle to any party in AP.

In any 3 way fight, Jagan may end up winning again in 2024. The only curse for AP is CBN. He picked up a fight due to upper caste arrogance on a "lowly BC leader" (NM) who is the PM and now Telugu people in AP will suffer.

The only thing we can do is to actively oppose conversions in AP. Organisations like Shiva Shakthi are going good work and all of them need to be supported.

How Turkey's Hagia Sophia Propelled CPI(M) to Big Win in Kerala Local Body Elections
Muslim League leader writes an article on Hagia Sophia supporting Turkey and Turdogan. Commie Balakrishnan, asked in a Facebook post "how the Muslim League can now oppose the BJP government’s move to construct a Ram temple where a mosque once stood.”

Then came Commie Vijayan government’s decision in October to implement 10 per cent reservation in government jobs for the economically weaker section among the forward communities. This created a rift in the UDF as the Muslim League vigorously opposed the move.

Nair Service Society that had demanded this reservation for long, kept a studied silence on the issue.

The Syrian Christians came up with strong criticism against the UDF leadership. Archbishop of Syro Malabar Church, in an article published in their mouthpiece lashed out against UDF. The article, while praising the BJP and Commies, also asked why the Congress is not able to support national interest ? Other issues ranging from Love Jihad to the growing clout of Muslim League in UDF are also part of the fear factor among the Christian Community.

Following a power struggle, a faction within the Christian Kerala Congress (M) led by Jose Mani snapped ties with UDF and joined hands with the LDF.

Despite the criticisms raised by the Christian community, the UDF went for an alliance with Islamic Welfare Party and a tacit understanding with the Islamic SDPI in the local body elections in December

Interesting analysis on the kerala local body polls.

Maybe, next time around, they may be able to block shampoo boy's election to the parliament forcing the congis to consume one more scarce RS seat to accommodate him and his forked tongue.

Kerala Local Body Polls: How Communists Have Bucked The Trend And BJP Has Gained Ground

Image
BJP gains in Kerala local body polls.

Snapshot
The communists have won big in the local body polls. For its part, the BJP has won wards for the first time across the state, and may use these results as a springboard for their 2021 assembly elections campaign.

The average Swarajya reader is probably no fan of Marxism, communism, socialism or liberalism, and probably lists these, and other ‘ideologies’, as many of those pernicious isms which gravely infected India over the past century.

Such a reader, probably, also views the ongoing, magnificent, socio-political churning in the country as an event which is overdue by a few centuries. Yet, an objective analysis of the recently-concluded local government elections in Kerala shows that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and his Left Democratic Front coalition (LDF), bucked the odds to sweep the board.

The LDF won four of the six corporations in the state, 11 of 14 district councils, 112 of 152 block panchayats, and 514 of 941 village (gram) panchayats. They came second to the Congress-led, Muslim League-supported, United Democratic Front (UDF) coalition, only in the municipality elections, winning 35 out of 87 (the UDF won 45). But even there, they were down only nine from 2015.

The communists went into these polls with two major millstones, and popular wisdom had it that they would succumb to those weights: first, a disastrous handling of the Wuhan virus epidemic, which revealed political ineptitude of staggering proportions; and second, a series of corruption scandals with international and domestic terror angles, which pointed to the very top of the Marxist edifice.

In spite of that, the LDF managed to not just hold its own, but improve its performance in the local polls as well. They did that in two ways: one, by holding on to their core vote base, and two, by breaking the UDF.

Looking at the numbers, it seems that it was the second which had more impact: the communists managed to wean the principal faction of the Christian Kerala Congress away from the UDF. This move had meandered over the monsoon, but it was the only way out for Vijayan — he needed to compensate for the Hindu vote he had been steadily losing since the ‘sacrilege’ at Sabarimala.

True politics means being able to turn things around when the chips are down, and as much as one may hate to admit it, Vijayan has managed to do exactly that. As we see, getting a chunk of the Christian vote has done wonders for the communists. It has cut the margins with the UDF.

These trends may not hold until the assembly elections, but they have the following impacts:

The communists have wrested a vital pause, to temporarily arrest the headlong electoral decline they had pitted themselves unto, through their utter incompetence and multiple, grave allegations of corruption at the highest levels. Now, whether it is the truth or not, they will be able to use the local government election results, to crow twice.

First, that this represents a validation of their ‘Kerala Model’ of epidemic management. And second, that the various central agencies currently investigating communist-related corruption cases, with national security dimensions, in Kerala, are doing so purely out of political bias, at the behest of their political masters in Delhi. Neither is the truth, but that is how this latest mandate will be spun by the Marxists.

Electorally, an influx of Christian votes into the LDF from the UDF is a direct shift which negates the advantage the UDF would otherwise have had, and crazily, even puts the LDF ahead in places, because the UDF, too, is busy losing votes to the BJP.

To put it in perspective, the Congress and the UDF swept Kerala in 2019, and squeezed the LDF badly, because they managed to concentrate the minority vote.

The Kerala Congress’s switch to the communists has eroded that UDF advantage significantly.

Case in point is Christian-dominated Kottayam district, where the LDF swept 10 of 11 blocks, and 39 of 71 panchayats. Another example is Kollam Corporation, where the LDF won 39 of 55 seats, the BJP got a commendable six, and the Congress was left with far less than what they had in 2015 (16 in 2015; nine in 2020; down seven)

The Congress-led UDF had been taught a painful lesson: that the power of the minority vote far outweighs any allegation of malfeasance or incapacity.

To press the point home, the communists swung swathes of wards in the backyards of major Hindu Congress heavyweights like Mullapally Ramachandran and Ramesh Chennithala, and swept the Muslim-dominated Ponnani municipal elections (38/51 seats).

Obviously, the Christian vote, which the turncoat Kerala Congress commands in pockets, is now functioning as a swing factor for the LDF over the UDF, where the BJP is nowhere. And, the Muslims too, are hedging their bets, to accommodate those sections who worry that too much association with the Congress will only heighten community stigmatisation.

Now we know who benefited from pretending that the Tablighi Jamaat members were not vectors of the virus in Kerala. There’s a lot going on in Kerala, and the assembly elections will be tough to predict.

Of course, it may be in the UDF’s overall strategic interest to again retain an element of Hindu tokenism, for show, but the local elections have shown (exactly as the 2019 Lok Sabha elections did) that the forthcoming assembly elections will be won by the coalition that shores up the minority vote more effectively.

The clear implication is that we may expect more kowtowing by the Congress to the Muslim League, and concerted efforts to seize every last Christian vote.

Importantly, this also means that no matter how much the Congress projects Ramesh Chennithala as the party’s face, on TV, it is Oommen Chandy who will be their chief ministerial candidate without question.

The BJP will be hard pressed to secure a material mandate of any sort until it emerges from its Nair echo chamber. This is the harsh truth. They have made a start by appointing K Surendran as the state party president, and the core vote base has rallied valiantly behind the man, but it is simply not enough.

The problem is that they have been unable to capitalise on the relatively-spectacular gains they made in the 2014-2016 period (when they nearly dislodged Shashi Tharoor in Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat, and opened a solitary assembly account in 2016). Their 2020 tally in Trivandrum Corporation, which they were expected to sweep, is the same as it was in 2015 – 34 seats out of 100.

They will not be able to breach the crucial 25 per cent vote share mark (which is when their votes-to-seats conversion factor will come into play) at the state level, unless they can woo the Ezhava Other Backward Class vote in significant numbers, and tap into a simmering Christian undercurrent, which has repeatedly expressed inclinations to junk identity politics for the mainstream.

Nonetheless, the current efforts have shown fledgling, positive results — the BJP swept Palakkad and Pandalam municipalities, and won wards for the first time in corporations, municipalities and panchayats across the state. It’s a start, and we may expect the BJP to use these results as a springboard for their 2021 assembly elections campaign.

^^^ I don't think BJP should work backwards or compromise on any ideological positions to accommodate Christians. If they have issues with love-Jihad or Halal certifications, let them deal with it on their own. RSS folks sticking out their necks for to save them from predatory Islamists will be futile, as it is 100% assured they will stabbed in the back in future.

Perhaps BJP strategy in Kerala should be similar to Owaisi's in Hyderabad, just focus on uniting Hindu Qaum, protect our temples and focus on becoming the kingmaker rather than aspiring for forming government.

It also added that the Rs.700 crore unaccounted income is ploughed back into real estate investments and business expansion and that the assessee admitted to having an undisclosed income of Rs.150 cr (over 20 million) so far.

After 28 years...
Sister Abhaya case: Sr Sephy, Fr Kottoor found guilty, quantum of punishment on Wednesday.
The summary of the case was that; in the year 1992 a 21 year old nun was found dead in a well in a convent. Kerala's local police & crime branch stated that it was a case of suicide, investigation teams from CBI also accepted it. It was the strictness of three magistrates which forced the CBI to re-open the case do more smart investigation and find out the truth. It was revealed that the dead nun had seen another nun (Accused #2) and two priests (Accused #1) during a se-xual orgy, and to suppress that incident she was bludgeoned and dumped into a well. The church & clergy have tried all their best to scuttle the case and then delay the proceedings. Two X'ian police officials were suspected to be the the king pin in tampering evidence (one of them committed suicide during CBI investigation, the other is still around). It was a 6th Std. Pass Jomon Puthenpurakkal who formed an "action council" against the clergy and ensured that the heat on the case is not lost and people don't forget the incident. Sister Abhaya would have been 49 years old if she was alive today.

One of the star witnesses in this case was a petty theif who had witnessed the nocturnal visits of the priests. He withstood all offers of money, house etc and stood by his original statement. 'God came as Adakka Raju and became eye witness', says Jomon Puthenpurackal.

Sr Abhaya case: God is my court, not scared of anything, says Fr Kottoor. The padre has now been remanded at Central Prison, Poojappura and tomorrow he will be produced in court for sentencing. It must be ironical that the padre is diagnosed of cancer, and that too at the tip of his p-enis.

i am not surprised at all.
govt machinery, contractors, politicos exist only for commission, cutting, share what ever one call it.

look at any govt scheme from mid day egg meal scheme to road bridge contract. commission, crony capitalism is ingrained.
each time govt changes, entire coterie of officials are changed to ensure smooth flow of money change happens from 1 party to another party in power.

$950 million is Rs.7000 crores, not 700 . Either the dollar figure has an extra 0 or the Rupee figure is missing one. If it's really $950 million, our GDP is probably badly understated because that is China level of local corruption.

So it takes only 28 years to prosecute a murder case that has had wide publicity since day one. Justice in India is a theoretical concept. Imagine what would be the plight of a family who's murder case has not made the newspapers (there would be thousands, if not tens of thousands of such cases over the last 2 decades). Evidence and witness accounts/recollections lose their meaning and effectiveness after a few years. Witnesses get new jobs/get transferred/get sick/die or otherwise move on. How can an average court trial maintain its integrity over a decade?

There is the same common thread running between the Sister Abhaya case, the Winstron factory riot and the $950 million USD corruption raid in Tamil Nadu, Anjali Tiwari's/Ayesha's public suicide in Lucknow and countless other seemingly un-related news stories. The court system will continue to run in its current fashion where the cases now take 2 decades or more to get resolved. The cost to people of getting 'justice' after 20-30 years has not been thought about or estimated (beyond the well-worn slogan 'justice delayed is justice denied').

Tend to agree with you. Our judicial process is too archaic, and more suited for a small country like UK (from where this system came to India). And over the years the processes are actually got longer than being shorter. There was another case in KL in 1960s known as Mariya Kutty murder case. Accused again was a Christian padre and reasons were again s-exual escapades. The investigation & trial was over in around 9 months. Appeal process was also quickly done in a span of 2-3 months, which the padre was acquitted (due to lack of evidence). Similar was the trial of the three murderers in the in-famous 'Belur Srinivasa Iyengar murder case' at Bangalore. Trial and appeal lasted around 6 years, and the execution (hanging) carried out within 10 years. Where as in the Sister Abhaya murder case, the accused and the church establishment had used every dirty trick in the book to delay the process. X'ian police officials had actively colluded to remove evidence.

this case is not done yet

they still have many courts of appeal and they will be out on interim bail and rome will not allow some silly legal case to call their "reputation" to question, especially in India where they have always had their way since the advent of the britshits and their maculayputras who have termite like burrowed into every inch of the "system".

remember the eyetalian marines case where it was portrayed as though the fishermen deliberately ran into the path of bullets so very innocently fired by the marines when they were piously attending to their prayers.

every document produced by the eyetalian murderers started with the phrase hitherto unheard of in Indian jurisprudence: "in the name of christ"

From what I understand. The CBI special court at Thiruvananthapuram have found the accused guilty under Sec 302 of IPC (punishment for murder). In such cases there is no provision for interim bail while the accused keep on filing appeals. Such a provision is there for Sec 304 IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). There are also earlier directives from Hon S.C that the appeals for such cases (murder) cannot be fast tracked based on who is the accused and it has to follow the established process. With the current backlog appeals, may not be heard immediately. The padre & nun have now been taken to the central prisons and are now prisoners (with the prisoner number issued).

700 cr seems like the correct figure after cross checking other news sources. Though WION still hasn't corrected the referenced headline.

If anyone ever doubted the extent and the sheer reach of the BIF controlled Indian deep state, they need to see this.

in a mature democracy, concepts like collegium and the basic structure or framework of the Constitution "cannot be changed" have no place.

the constitution was made by the people and the people have the inviolable right to change it if they so desire, provided that they have the duly obtained electoral legitimacy in the parliament.

such gross and unwarranted interference would have led to impeachment in any civilized society that values its freedom above narrow and sectarian considerations

Retired Supreme Court Justice Cyriac Joseph Tried To Scuttle Sister Abhaya Case, Alleges Whistleblower

Snapshot
Cyriac Joseph has also allegedly played a role in the transfer of a chief judicial magistrate V T Raghunath, who insisted on visiting the convent where Sister Abhaya’s body was found in a well, rejecting the initial findings of the CBI.

Retired Supreme Court judge Cyriac Joseph had tried to derail Kerala’s sensational Sister Abhaya murder case in which a Catholic priest Thomas M Kottoor and a nun Sephy have been sentenced to life for the crime, a whistle-blower and one of the key witnesses in the case, Jomon Puthenpurackal has alleged.

The former judge had tried to sabotage the case from the beginning, when he was the State’s additional advocate general, Puthenpurackal said, adding that he had intervened many a time since Kottoor was his relative.

The role of Cyriac Joseph, who was elevated as a Kerala High Court judge in 1994, came into scrutiny 2008 when he was the Karnataka High Court Chief Justice. He was reportedly seen in Bengaluru’s Narco Analysis Lab, where results of an analysis done on Kottoor and Sephy were available.

Kottoor and Sephy were arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and taken to Bengaluru for the analysis.

The CBI complained to the Kerala High Court that the Karnataka High Court Chief Justice saw the narco analysis tapes of the accused. It was during this time that Syriac Thomas was elevated as a Supreme Court judge.

Then Supreme Court Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan, who also hails from Kerala, headed a bench that ruled the narco analysis test “null and void”.

Cyriac Joseph has also allegedly played a role in the transfer of a chief judicial magistrate V T Raghunath, who insisted on visiting the convent where Sister Abhaya’s body was found in a well, rejecting the initial findings of the CBI.

The Sister Abhaya verdict came 28 years after her body was found mysteriously in a well in the Pious Tenth Convent, Kottayam, on 27 March 1992. It was the longest-running murder probe in Kerala.

The verdict came despite over hundred witnesses turning hostile. The court observed that the prosecution witnesses, who withstood the pressure to change their versions, were strong and convincing to convict Kottoor and Sephy.

Sister Abhaya case was a sensational one in Kerala, going through many twists and turns. Along with Kottoor and Sephy, another priest Jose Poothrikkayil was also accused but he was acquitted by the trial court.

Abhaya was a second-year pre-degree student of Kottayam BCM College and a resident of Pius X convent in Kottayam at the time of her death. Kottoor was the psychology professor at the college, besides being the chancellor of the Kottayam diocese.

Re-investigations were ordered thrice in the Sister Abhaya case as the court refused to accept the conclusion of the probe team, including by the CBI which said it was unable to pinpoint the murderers.

Based on the third probe, Kottoor, Poothrikkayil and Sephy were arrested on 19 November 2008.

The prosecution charge was that Abhaya was hit with an axe and then dumped in the well of the convent. Sephy resorted to this step of hitting Abhaya as she had accidentally witnessed the former in a “compromising position” with the two priests.

Proof that AP has gone to the dogs/pigs/Dung Beatles.

Its painful to even type - Sri Rama's statue in an ancient temple has been BEHEADED - head stolen from a 3rd century AD temple in northern AP.. locals believe this temple was even older, said to be built by Pandavas.

https://newsmeter.in/regional/andhra-pr ... ded-672326

True to Andhra's "secular" tradition, no news channel even bothered to report this..

Once again cops will laugh it off and blame some "mad man" or "miscreant" and silently bury the issue, just like burning of age old Rathams in the past.

RoL fanatics are clearly behind this.. But they dont have to worry, they have Jagan govt and entire police force's support.. plus the self-destructive, caste fanatic Andhra m0r0ns will continue to vote for their favorite caste leader in the upcoming elections anyway.

Christian Andhra CM Allows Shocking Vandalism Of Bhagwan Ram’s Idol At Ramatheertha Temple In Vizianagaram

120 temples in Andhra have been attacked in the last 19 months of YSRC rule. An idol of Bhagwan Ram was broken in the revered ancient Ramateertham Temple atop a hill located 12 kilometres from Vizianagaram. When will the evangelist CM start following his Raj Dharma and stop being a CM only for Christians?

I googled after seeing your statement and found this. Really WTF moment for me. Judges are as corrupt as biased and as politicized as anyone else.

Prove if Jagan is a Christian: High Court tells petitioner
Curious arguments took place in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on the religion of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. His name is obviously a Hindu name. But the petitioner says Jagan is a Christian. The court has told the petitioner to prove that the CM is a Christian so that it would be able to take up his petition on the issue of violation during the entry into TTD Tirumala temple. The High Court did not accept the argument made by petitioner A Sudhakar Babu’s lawyer when he said that Jagan Reddy along with his family members took part in the evangelical meetings very often. This was proof enough for his Christian faith. The judge simply said that since the name of the CM was sounding like a Hindu name, it would not be possible to proceed further without first confirming the true religion of Jagan Reddy. The court postponed the hearing for October 22.

The petitioner was asking the court to order action against the Board and officials of the TTD for not making CM Jagan to submit ‘faith declaration’ before entering the Tirumala Temple during Brahmotsavams. The petitioner’s lawyer told the court that only the Hindu devotees can havy entry into Sri Vari Temple. A non-Hindu should have to submit a declaration saying that he was entering the temple since he has faith in Lord Venkateswara Swamy. But, this declaration form was not taken from CM Jagan Reddy. Ministers like Kodali Nani said that there was no need for taking such declarations which was in violation of the endowments act rule 136 and 137. When the petitioner asked the court to seek clarification from Jagan Reddy on his religion, the judge said that it would not ask from its side and it was for the petitioner to submit the proof of the CM’s religion.

Partial list of Hindu temples, statues, temple rathams destroyed in AP from Nov 2019 to Sep 2020. I have no doubt in my mind the culprits are Christian fanatics.

It could be my opinion, but High COurt is not wrong. This is a sloppy half A$$ work by the petitioner and he is expecting judges to do the home work which he should have done. If Y (Samuel) Jaganmohan Reddy is Christian, then look at his election filing, else Jagan already did a drama of hindu conversion before elections (disprove that atleast) before filing a case

Andhra(like Kerala) has a big percentage of population that belongs to the lower castes. Its direction is predictable(just look at Kerala). If YSR falls, the region(the castes) will embrace leftism and you'll have more problems than now.

The only way the Nairs and the brahmins of andhra can prevent andhras fall is to invite open caste Hindus from other states to settle in andhra, just as the brahmins and marathas in maharashtra did to counter balance the local ambedkar population.

Does an electoral candidate need to specify/declare his/her religious affiliation? I know they have to declare income, assets, caste, pending police/legal/criminal cases. I don't know if a candidate needs to specify his/her religion. Willing to be corrected by legal eagles.
