Well sir.. I have seen many whatsapp groups getting evaporated due to pro rahul and pro modi groups. Especially after the airstrike this has increased.
The same has been speen in Ireland, where my cousin had a bad argument on same issue.

lost mine too. Can't put friendship over national interests, especially anti armed forces view is absolutely no go. that's the red line.

when the "democracy" war started in libya, the french AF were offered the support of a growler squadron based in italy/spain but declined saying they were ok. while libya is notwhere near paf level, it also shows the confidence level in spectra.

bahawalpur is around 200km from the IB.

its survivability in ew dense and contested airspace in the DPSA role is surely significantly better than the Mirage2000-5 which is not a slouch.

Singha, Rafale is great for DPSA role. Plus don't forget Scalp is advertised to be > 250 kms range missile. Rafale can launch it from 50-70 kms inside TSP and then return.

TSP AWACS will be shit scared of Meteor and juicy targets for it.

Bahwalpur is ~ 110KM from IB. Pakistan airbases are spread pretty thin, only PAF rafiqui is closeby.

Then it makes it all the more easily targeted by Scalp. Plus imagine if S-400's are around the border there. TSP won't be able to fly CAP missions within 0-30/40 kms of their border. :)

True to fake or dropped by PAF/IAF, should keep the Paks on the edge for couple of more days.

Quite a fair bit of them during landings.

The much maligned MiG 21 with it's much higher landing speeds and non FBW controls would be even more challenging.

Perhaps a very capable platform in sanitised (from Aerial and SAM threats). But even then what about fast ingress and egress - giving lesser reaction/escape time to the targets?

Why IAF needs planes like this for anti-terror ops - Group Captain Murli Menon (retd).

Image
Given the current India-Pakistan scenario, a large air strike into Pakistan is going to get increasingly difficult. Maybe a one off attack, but repeat strikes are highly unlikely given the dense air defence environment -- AWACS, radar cover etc.

Employment of dedicated lightweight special forces aircraft may provide the answer for repeat anti-terror air strikes with surprise elements intact, the cost benefit assured and attrition minimal.

In the recent past, America's Central Intelligence Agency employed crop duster aircraft like the Thrush 510 G and light helicopters like Little Bird operated by the defence contractor Blackwater in Mali, Iraq and Columbia.

The crop duster aircraft was modified with heavy armour plating and fitted with weaponry like cannons and air to ground rockets to neutralise terrorists effectively. The Austrians are known to have facilitated this.

We can easily undertake these modifications at our IAF Base Repair Depots or even at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in short time frames to give us a special forces AirPower capability which is vital in the present context.

Airforce Chief Marshal Dhanoa makes a stunning revelation, says ‘cannot comment on ongoing operations’

MARCH 4, 2019

Addressing the press in Coimbatore, Dhanoa affirmed that the Airforce pilots had hit the intended target in Balakot. When questioned about the number of terrorists killed, Dhanoa replied back, “IAF is not in a postilion to clarify the number of casualties. The government will clarify that. We don’t count human casualties, we count what targets we have hit or not.”

Regarding the question on the state of operations undergoing at the LoC, Air Chief Dhanoa said, “It is an ongoing operation I will not comment on it.” He was asked about why MiG21 Bisons were used to which he said that the Mig21 is a capable aircraft as it has been upgraded. He also said that it was better radar, air to air missiles and better weapons system. He then said that he cannot comment on ‘ongoing operations’.

This is a big statement coming from the Air Chief Marshal in the aftermath of the Pakistani Airforce’s unscrupulous attempt to attack Indian military bases was foiled by the vigilant Indian fighter jets. Since then Pakistan has been feverishly imploring India to de-escalate the situation transpired along the border. Air Chief Marshal’s statements suggest Indian Airforce is in the mood to relent the pressure mounted on Pakistan.

Many opposition politicians in India had questioned for proof or evidence that suggest the targets were hit in Balakot. Responding to this Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa said, “ If we plan to hit the target, we hit the target. If we had dropped bombs in a jungle, he (Imran Khan) would not have responded.”

In the wee hours of February 26, 2019, 12 Mirage 2000 aircraft of the Indian airforce flew deep inside Pakistani territory and bombed a major Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist camp to dust in Balakot. It was an operation immaculately planned and executed with pinpoint precision by the Indian Airforce.

Time to declare 100km from the IB/LoC into Pakistan/PoJK a no-fly zone? They have shut down the airspace anyway, we are only happy to help keep it that way.

Considering that an all import AF Pakis are, expending drop tanks means capability decline. In 1971 war our SU-7's stopped the successful attacks on SHorkot road since the ran out of drop tanks after 3 attacks durign the first 2 days.
