In my opinion, BJP, per se, doesn't have strong opposition to the deal and when push come to shove or in the event the commies vote against it, they vote for the deal. They want to do a conditional approval so unsaid externalities do not come into picture in anyway. We need this tamasha to offset the tamasha of US congress.bala wrote:It is ironic if the BJP votes the deal down, then they would have inadvertently aligned themselves as sympathizers with the China cause. The reason that the US bended quite bit, during negotiation with India was that they knew any failure would imply that China succeeded in the final analysis. This was repeated many times by spokespersons of the US that they were committed to making a success out of the deal. Even the democrats in the US Congress understand this subtlety, but as usual, Indian politicians miss the forest from the trees with their inane quibbling. A vote against the US-India Nuclear deal is a vote for China, plain and simple.

Apple satellite on bullock cart ?? Apple was lunched by Ariane, APPLE stands for Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment. It was made in ISAC, Bangalore. Where is the question of Bullock cart? (unless they used bullock cart to transport to B'lore airport , which didn't happen)Gerard wrote:Confusing the APPLE satellite with a rocket...
Author is confusing it with a picture of a rocket part being carried on a Cycle, with two scientists walking next to it.
