The interesting bit is that the new rockets of 120 and 200 Km ranges will fit into the form factor of existing Pinaka launchers. I dont know how this is possible unless serious breakthroughs in materials & propellants were achieved. If so, kudos!!

Could also be smaller volume for warhead/explosive (or different warhead composition - same bang for lesser size), to give more space for the fuel.

Ok. So, it might be like a UVLS, whereby upto the 70 Km range guided Pinaka, it will be 12 barrels per launcher. And perhaps 3 or 4 per launcher for the 120 and 200 Km larger rockets

^^^
My guess would be

6 x 214 mm (100kg warhead) -> 80km
2 x ?mm (250kg warhead) -> 120km
1 x ?mm (250kg warhead) -> 200km

Once you go longer range with fewer rockets you compensate with larger warheads.

This is the largest known export order for OFB or its successors. In 2017 & 2019, UAE had bought 40k and 50k 155mm shells for ~$40m & ~$46m.

Check this out on Pinaka … two different pods with different rocket sizes.

Slightly underwhelming to see that the even with the availability of the physical space with the pinaka vehicle and mounting turn table. The pod carries only 6 x122 rockets.

Based on rough sizing of spaces in between, I think each pod could hold up to 12 x 122mm rockets if packed tightly in 4x3 layout.

https://x.com/MonteroMax/status/1765213 ... 31740?s=20 ---> Indian sources confirmed that HAL is working with PADC to offer the Tejas Mk.1A to the PAF as a naval strike fighter with Brahmos NG & NASM-ER missiles. PADC's CEO confirmed two weeks ago its partnership with HAL, w/c may allow local participation in assembly & maintenance.

https://x.com/MonteroMax/status/1765213 ... 80376?s=20 ---> While many believe that the Tejas will compete on Multirole Fighter project, we believe that Tejas will be considered by PAF to compete in LCA/Surface Attack Aircraft requirements. It has become clear that PAF is moving away from propeller LAAs to fast jet strikers.

https://x.com/MonteroMax/status/1765213 ... 62985?s=20 ---> The Tejas Mk1A has a strong advantage vs its closest competitor, the KAI FA-50 Block 20 Fighting Eagle in terms of anti-shipping capabilities. The participation of PADC, a state-owned company under DND, is an advantage. But FA-50 is already proven design & in service with PAF.

https://x.com/MonteroMax/status/1765222 ... 15349?s=20 ---> PADC's participation is still unknown but apparently the Tejas Mk1A being proposed to PAF is custom variant specializing in naval strike. So this is probably where PADC could be involved & receive tech transfer. Tech for localized maintenance is the most obvious it can get.

Both Brahmos NG & NASM-ER missiles are not in existence yet.

https://x.com/ritu86sharma/status/1780933532409557007 ---> An IAF C-17 and an IAF IL-76 will take off tomorrow towards the South China Sea with an important cargo that will be balancing China's increasing might in the region. An official - condition of anonymity - confirmed to the EurAsian Times, that the two heavy lifters of the IAF will be delivering BrahMos to the Philippines. The missile system will be delivered over the course of the next one week. The training of the Philippines Armed Forces to integrate BrahMos will take place some time later.

And that is the most significant thing about this sale.
