Anyone remember how to reduce the image sizes? I thought I could do it by tweaking the [img] tag. I forgot how to do that now :-)

Re: Indian Missiles News & Discussions - 30 June 2022

We tested MIRV and this forum is as silents as it can get. A decade before, a mere Prithvi would have filled this thread for 2 pages. And if its Agni Series, then it would be multiple pages with circular maps and reactions of even unheard of countries. We had came a long, long way. I came to BRF mo...

Chittaranjan Naik's book is darn good that further pushes Indian view of Realism. Confession: It is a very tough to understand book. I am plowing a few pages at a time https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Realism-Contact-Theory-Perception/dp/1646780124?ref=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=5c15eebd-da78-4ae7...

Re: Lessons Learned from Russia-Ukraine Battles

There are three phases:
1) Preparing the World that Pakistan is obsolete
2) Military defeat of Pakistan
3) Post-victory managment of the people, territory and material assets.

Re: Lessons Learned from Russia-Ukraine Battles

If there is an Indo-Pak war, India needs to convince Russia, America and China to not intervene. It means India needs to convince them that destruction of Pakistan is beneficial to them. If America or China intervenes, it will be a long drawn war.

I am looking for estimates on resulting refugees and other expenses when the implosion happens.

I am sure Indian gov. is not going to publicly release numbers. Have experts predicted the impact on India?

Re: Endgame of NaPakistan: How and what afterwards

Could it be that after more than two decades of "Pakistan about to collapse" discussions on BR, it might actually be happening, finally? I stepped into mothership to check what our gurus were saying. I get WA forwards from friends and family about things happening in and to Pakistan. Indi...

Re: Sri Lanka - News and Discussion- Post PM appointment crisis

There is a school of thought of SL becoming part of the union, which I agree with, is the long civilization connection with the island/people. An immediate union will be troublesome. India could work out something along the lines of the European Union - common currency, easier travel, trade, educati...

The way things are developing is turning out to be the standard Cold war situation. Russia is holding the Ukrainian by his testes, and America by his neck. It is the poor Ukrainian who is utterly devastated. Feels like a gang-rape of a country.

I was thinking, can we utilize the situation and integrate Sri Lanka into India, just like how we integrated Sikkim? What for? That land was part and parcel of our civilization. Nepal, SL and parts of Tibet were as Indian as any other territory. And these are the only ones that have not been fully ...

I was thinking, can we utilize the situation and integrate Sri Lanka into India, just like how we integrated Sikkim? Maybe in the long term, a full statehood. For starters, EU like union would be a good place to begin bringing Indian Ocean Rim Countries into the Indian Sphere of Influence. We alrea...

That zealous fanatic strain of Buddhism that exists in SL creates as much stress with other faith adherents. Burma shares similar strains. Re: Eastern Europe/Ukraine [Feb 6th 2015]

I am in US, and not all Indo Americans oppose Russia either. I cannot quantify, though. It is Universal for humans to oppose war these days, and based on the media reports it is likely that Indo-Americans also view Russia as not only the aggressor, but the cause of the human suffering. No doubt ther...
