Normally TN parties will give decisive mandates. I am not sure it will be different this time around. In any event, we are having a whole new situation in TN and all reticulations may be hit for a six in the end.

Re: Pakistani Economic Stress Watch

From what I see, the economy of pakis is modeled for rich people and not for middle class or poor. Import of cars, low tax on car, lack of land reforms, Baboon + Army establishment which does not answer to people, huge defense spending (which I do not really support) etc shows that. It is basically ...

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

One funny thing in all this is BJP may get more seats from rest of the South this time than in 2014. We are looking one or two in KL, at least 3 in TN and may be 2 in TS and better than last time in KA.

NDA of course will do way better with ADMK getting some seats.

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion

I am not denying that there are problems with BJP rule of 5 years. But to compare this with 2004 is not proper. In 2004 BJP was overconfident. Today it is not. BJP destroyed itself in UP at that time and top leadership of BJP is not connected to core vote base and never really on the attack mode. No...

This new green deal is dead on arrival.I am in fact surprised how such ideas could find main stream acceptance. With far left dictating terms for some more time to come, Dem candidates for 2020 have to support it or at least some version of it. I guess far left is the new main stream the US now.
