Destruction of Realestate Ponzi scheme is the best thing that happened to India for a long time. Now people can at least dream of buying a house of their own. As for as IT is concerned, my view is that tax payment is not an issue. The issue is non-payment of tax by many who have taxable income and c...

Shivaji understood Muslims better than anyone in Bharat before him. Maybe better than anyone after him. He acted accordingly. That is the major reason why we remember him.

We need to take all prediction of doom that comes from the so-called experts with a ton of salt. Particularly when our MSM reports that. I think what is needed for our economy is the creation of jobs. As long as that is being done we are good in the short and medium term.

On creating big banks etc, I have an alternative view. While we need big and very big banks we also need banks of all sizes. Big size banks are not showing interest in SME loans or small size loans. In our country, there is a huge need for proper lending in these areas. Here Mudra scores. But we nee...

No major increases in borrowings as far as I know during Sep 2017. Normally Sep months revival of limits is made by banks. Maybe they are all waiting during that quarter. We need to see this quarter.

Re: GST - Discussion on all aspects.

Software companies of India work in more harsh conditions when dealing with customers. Particularly customers from abroad. I do not see any reason why they should not deliver things to GoI. This project is critical for the nation. If Infy does not step up then there is no reason to continue with them.

We do not know what is the contract they have infy for GST service. Is there any performance guarantee given by them if yes, whether MoF GoI invoked it as infy clearly failed to provide that service. Indian economy is in fact much tightly regulated as far as NPAs are concerned. In fact, in recent times RBI went overboard also when pressurised Banks to make provisioning to the accounts where are otherwise regular.

Not really sir. The cost will be a factor and we may not be willing to use Brahmos on all the targets and a cheaper alternative which do the same job is always required. Also, not all targets required a Mach 3 CM.
