Re: LCA: News & Discussions: 15 August 2017

It is not a healthy idea that we have to force something on armed forces who have to risk their lives on the systems we select and they shall have some serious say in these matters. But in this case, if there are no real problems with LCA I think there is nothing wrong in putting pressure on MoD to ...

Re: Positive News from the USA

These 40 year old allegations are somewhat unbelievable and there are some bases for them. I think this fellow is a hardcore nature EJ fellow. Still is you are making allegations which are that old then there shall be something more than allegations. FOX news Laura Ingram show has interviewed one bl...

Please wait for your grandchildren to come we are in the fast track mode in a bullet train speed.

On the serious side, I think we have already made progress in this sir. I do not see any import lobby messing up things now. At least I hope they can not at this stage.

What does "coming next year' means. As far as my mango man brain remembers no funds were sanctioned to build a prototype to date. So how can it come next year? Does it mean design is getting finalised???

Major boost??? Where do these fellows live? HAL by now needs to realise that IAF as a whole is not going to support LCA unless HAL also tries to sell their product hard. HAL simply not getting it. They first keep their house in order and convince/ take up with the Minister or PMO if they want to hav...

Re: LCA: News & Discussions: 15 August 2017

I say HAL should be given a list of friendly nations that it can sell Fighter Jets to and let them build LCA for foreign countries that need such a fighter. Let them manage it as a business, get funding and build upon it. It will also serve a purpose very critical - Let them fail on their own and r...

Not really sir. The cost will be a factor and we may not be willing to use Brahmos on all the targets and a cheaper alternative which do the same job is always required. Also, not all targets required a Mach 3 CM.

Re: LCA: News & Discussions: 15 August 2017

There are many things wrong fenne sir. But most of it may not be with LCA as you say. I am a mango here but our testing seems to be quite extensive and hard one and if they say LCA passed in R 73 or Derby I take their word for it unless you can produce some data proving otherwise.

They have a constitutional right to bare firearms. So it is their decision. In the manner, the deep state is doing things I think this may be one of the most critical rights for mango fellows in that country. In any event, soon there may be a serious movement soon to remove that constitutional right.

Models of Cuba or UK may not be suitable for India. Every nation has its own issues and advantages. Heath care does not mean we have more hospitals or doctors etc.Cleanliness is a major problem in India and that is being addressed in a major way. But we need to do a lot more. We also need to do more...

Terrorists killed can be offered to their family in Paki land. Let them come to India to take the body to pakilnad. It is not going to happen as pakis never own their terror munnas.
