I think the ladhak Scouts are grouped with JaK LI . As the scouts are not a seperate regiment, they share the JaK Li center at Srinagar.<BR>

Dont count the LCA in your analysis. Now way the airforce is going to have full strength frontline squardons based upon the LCA. It is time to think about an alternative and the IAF and MOD should have some aircraft in mind. 2005 comes and the baus say that LCA will be ready by 2010. then 2010 comes...

The 11 corps at Jalandhar (Jullundur, according to old timers) has 2 Divs under it 15 Div. (Panther) at Amritsar and 7 Div. (Golden Arrow) at Ferozepur. There used to be a div at Pathankot in the 1980's but I dont know if it is still there.<P>The 9th Div. at Merrut does not come under 11 corps area....

Chitre<BR> <BR> Lt. Gen. Harbaksh Singh commanded 4 corps for only 4 or 5 days which Lt. Gen. Kaul was "seriously ill" lying in his bed in Delhi. Kaul made a "miriculus recovery" and came back to assume command. Lt. Gen. Harbaksh Singh was moved to command 33 or 32 corps.
