This attack is just the Pak military establishment telling the US that it has failed in Afghanistan, and rubbing it in. They are signalling victory, at least that's how they see the current situation in their minds.

No regime change in Iran yet folks. Back to regular programming.

But it will come. And the Iranians will do it on their own. No critical mass yet, it appears to me. The resentment is gathering a lot of steam though it will hold for some more time.
