Hmmm...that is not what the Chief of Army Staff has apparently said, as per the above post.
Pinaka rocket system has not yet been inducted into the army. It is in an advanced stage of trial evaluation. The Trajectory Correction System is still under development.

- Non-lethal supplies (food, medical aid etc.) will be obtained from CAR republics. Military supplies will be reinforced by Russia and transported via CAR region in addition to being flown-in by IAF. Pakis will have to allow these over-flights . That's not going to happen...at least not voluntarily.

I believe he is referring to the F-4 and F-5 as older models. I do not see a single airforce in the region except perhaps UAE and Turkey which can even dream of challenging the IAF even into the next 10 to 15 years.
