I know MEA didn’t confirm PAF aircraft type but I think it’s safe to assume our Mig 21 Bison shot down a F-16. How many F-16s kills have been claimed by Mig 21? I think must be very rare.

I also see a LERX in the wing join. Maybe that the stub wings from the tender drawings. So the wing shape does change if ever so slightly, from double compound delta to a somewhat triple compound delta with clipped ends for wingtip CCM rails.

I see no spill away opening. May be obscured by the canard but not visible to me in the video. Folks going there please confirm. Integrated IRST I suppose and also 11 hard points make it a beast.

So if the canard is all moving but not a control canard and the FCS doesn’t control it then is it manually operated at fixed deflection angles like the LEVCONS on the NLCA?

Why does a solid rocket powered Mach 4+ missile need a subsonic CM type folded wings? :eek: :eek: Wont the shear off at high supersonic speeds? :eek: :eek: Also being rocket powered, it is likely to glide most of the way and lose its kinetic energy as it approaches the target.
