Re: F-16, F-18, Grip, MiG-35 and Rafale Technical Resource Only
If IAF makes the mistake og going for one of the F-series fighters, will we also buy the KC-10/135 type tanker since IL-78 can't refuel them or will IAf demand they have refueling probes?

Good Job by GOI. Just withhold the waters till end of crop season and then flood them. Pakjab being the heart and soul of papistan will be crushed for a long time. More financial burden for chinks and saudis.

Re: Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc
I checked the specs from the brochure of RDY-3 and RC-400. They look the same. Even the aircrafts mentioned seem to be the same : LCA, F-16, Mig-29, Mirage-III/V and Mirage F-1. Ironically I don't see that radar ever being fitted into any of these aircraft except JF-17 and maybe Mirage F-1 (Libya an...

Range is not the issue. Even if it only has 30 km range use it to replace R-73, python-4 etc but the speed is important. A BVR missile needs to be > mach 4 to close in on the target.

I wish for once the DRDO would come out with the max speed and range spec. A mach 1-2 missile would never get accepted by IAF. Heck heavier Akash has a speed of mach 2.5-3.5.

Re: The Indo Russian PAK-FA Project
PAk-FA will eventually replace MKI and will be tased with long range patrols like MKI (8-9 hrs), here having 2 pilots is better than 1 so MKI and PAK-FA will be 2 seaters. LCA is a replement for Mig-21 and as capable as M2K. It is meant for CAP duties which only last 1 hour so single pilot.

Akash has longer range can can further be increased upto 50-55 km. The IAF Barak is supposed to have 120-150 km range and not just 70-80 like Naval BaraK-2.

Re: Military Acquisitions, Partnerships & Developments
Or India is subsidizing the next set of F-16 upgrades to MUNNA . But if DRDO uses the missiles to develop counter measures then 170 million is is nothing.
Taiwan just bought 60 for 90 million. Yes I can already see benfits of being MUNNA.

Harpoon is probably the best western anti-ship missile. I doubt Ru will loose any market over it. IN's premier missiles are brahmos and klub not some c-grade harpoon or exocet. I hope DRDO uses them to develop countermeasures against Pakis and their P-3's. Actually strike that IAF should have gone f...

I am not surprised the KLJ-7 looks like phazatron radar chinese must have tried to reverse engineer it. But is PAF happy with the radar? The spec 3 m^2 at 120 Km seems lower than Tejas's MMR which was meant to detect 2 m^2 targets at 130 km (144 km for 3 m^2) and then revised to 150 km.

Its old news that french have offered the RC-400/RDY3 radar which is really a dumbed down version of RDY2 to pakistan. The radar though not as potent as those on M2k-5 or Rafale is definitely better than anything china can offer. I think PAF will probably go for it or the griffo. AAM may be MICA I d...

Lol advanced frigate . Unlike china germany won't provide loan money to buy their own ships. The germans will gladly sell U-214 to india if india needs it but In needs much larger sub now, 2500-3000 tonne unlike pathetic navy (PN) which is a coastal force.
