Re: MRCA News and Discussion
If we are getting Hornets, then it means MMS & AKA are getting Horny. Or does it mean other way.

Re: LCA News and Discussions
Just can't digest that we are yielding to horny U$A. This is pure arm twisting, much worse and expensive than what Ruskkies did to us in Gorky case.

Congratulations to MMS, Prime Minister of U$A and AKA, Defense Minister of U$A.
Let us all pray the F414 doesn't pop out like Bull $hit, when Opama presses 'Del' button on his laptop whenever our planes fly towards the west or east as well.

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
@Pratuysh, Desi RTA will take around 10 years to fly and MPA on top of that is another 5 years. Can we afford to wait that long and risk our security?. Getting a "Desi" version of everything is a good idea but is it really feasible?. Hope many of us will agree how difficult is to design an...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
@ Singha ji. Is it not at all possible to upgrade/improvise engines, electrical, mechanical systems, crew comfort etc?. Can't we lay hands on few younger among mothballed aircrafts?. I think Russians will be more interested to help us here and we could have saved a lot on finance, time and also L/Ear...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
W.r.t to Tu-142M & Il-38, We can always enhance the overall performance by, say, fixing minor but expensive issues to start with, which cumulatively yield very positive and considerable benefits in shorter period. Major issues will be looked up while upgrading, say, replacing fuel-guzzler engine...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
Considering QE class of a/c for us is definitely good idea. We can expect it to be delivered around 2015-17. Even if all our parliamentarian pigs, babus, and IN give complete support in every form 'today', we can't expect Made-in-India one even around 2020 for sure. I think, most of us would agree h...

Under Sea-Floor Silos (USFS) for large SLBMs and SLCMs as a deterrent capable of withstanding first-strike Wonderful  . Hundred Years to you, buddy. Every other nation including Pigs&Pandas will appreciate this idea and some will implement it as well, but not our parliamentarians and thei...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
@rohitvats. Even I did see this bird in Arakkonam in mid-90s and also once in Yelahanka. I also thought the same way. What we see in photo and what we see on the ground in front of us is all together different. I will call it as mythical 'Goliath' of aircraft and very majestic bird. Just 2 dozen of ...

Re: MRCA News and Discussion
Why is Mig35 so risky bet. To me, a Known natasha devil is always better than unknown SAMantha angel. I do accept that RuAF not going to use Mig35 is a risk [what else??], but have we thought about work arounds. Sure, there must be some. Alternatively, a split-deal between Rafale and EF could be sur...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
To all naval tech gurus here. Why can't we design and develop a small, very fast boat with 'multiple rocket launcher' [like Pinka/Smerch modified for naval purpose, if required], and build that in numbers. I am just conceptualizing a platform, cheap and best, (i) to equal the numbers of Missile boat...

He considers Obama useless and not in Indian interests, Yes, he is no more than a hype - USual stuff. he also feels that US is protecting Pakistani interests at Indian cost ......, he wants a major focus on China. Yes, BO of Amrika did trade us for Chinese mercy, to be more precise. Hope we all are...

Re: Indian Naval Discussion
I think we need at least 5 AC between 2015-2020. If I were to decide, I will surely opt for 2# of CVF class [65K tonnes], 2# of IAC [35K tonnes], and hopefully can expect AG/Vik by 2015. We can further build 2# Improved version of IAC between 2020-2025. Also we need at least 4 flat tops like Mistral...
