They are only worried about artillery fire. They were happy to use ssg and fire bullets. Each artillery fire fired from paki side would mean one paki family goes without food for a week.

When Kargil war happened, the US refused spares for the sea king helicopters. The helicopters had to sit out the entire war. Is this the kind of support we are talking here?

It has nothing to do with bs6. It is simply too expensive to buy a car if not using daily. The insurance cost taxes and fuel prices are insane. I shifted to full time usage of ola during weekends.

America has warned Pakistan against using US weapons without permission. Looks like F-16 was indeed shot by Mig-21 causing lot of H&D loss for the US.

How?

US performs all the periodic checks of all the equipment sold to pakistan. If some F-16 is missing, it will be known during the periodic checks.

Have you also considered the fact that asking high production rate with only 20 confirmed orders may not be feasible? That is the only sticking point now.

I think it has partly to do with treaties and acts like CATSAA . I Still remember there was an article on how the sea king helicopters were not available for casevac due to US sanctions during kargil which would have saved lives.

Looking at the picture, the booster seems to be only for land based launches. Does this mean in a2a, booster is not required and aircraft speed is enough to ignite the engines? This should mean the minimum speed to ignite is less than the aircraft stall speed.

Thats ~400 cr per kilometer. There is no land acquisition cost unlike in Delhi EPE. India has surely become expensive. Why do we still need foreign joint ventures to build a bridge? Yesterday, i had booked the train from bangalore to mysore. The train was Hampi express from hubli. The train got delayed by 2 hours and i took a bus and went to mysore. Never faced such delays till now but seems like railways going down the drain.
