I think it has partly to do with treaties and acts like CATSAA . I Still remember there was an article on how the sea king helicopters were not available for casevac due to US sanctions during kargil which would have saved lives.

Looking at the picture, the booster seems to be only for land based launches. Does this mean in a2a, booster is not required and aircraft speed is enough to ignite the engines? This should mean the minimum speed to ignite is less than the aircraft stall speed.

Yesterday, i had booked the train from bangalore to mysore. The train was Hampi express from hubli. The train got delayed by 2 hours and i took a bus and went to mysore. Never faced such delays till now but seems like railways going down the drain.

I do not think it has anything to do with the MOD simply because if it related to kickbacks, the MOD will get its cut event if it is PSU. This is due to the vendors involved in the PSU manufacturing.

Heard in Karnataka, the tax was only two percent and that is why the entire 18% is being charged. Heck even my VOLVO bus pass has increased by 600 rs and they are showing it as GST. Every non competing business like reputed hotels, Office Cafeteria, Bus passes are trying to make money.
