... or like the Mk48 ADCAP, the wire can be cut when the torps's internal guidance locks-on to the target. Range ~5 miles for the Mk48 AFAIK.

Shankar,
Wonderful scenario build saar. Just a nitpick - wouldn't a westerly wind carry the smoke towards Indian formations?
(My bad if I have missed the battle layout & directions are reversed).

... I know this is from Wikipedia, but at least the rest of the write-up is accurate (mostly).

On 29 November, Azam Amir Kasav named his colleagues as Abu Ali, Fahad, Omar, Shoaib, Umer, Abu Akasha, Ismail Khan, Abdul Rahman (Bara), and Abdul Rahman.

The source given was this.

Why is it that the camera, in spite of being capable of working in the entire visible spectrum, will be giving its stereo image output in B&W? I think it probably is possible to have coloured stereo output, or is it that color is not of any importance for terrain mapping? The HySI captures 80m ...

Re: Chandrayan-1 mission launched succesfully

I have a question for the experts here regarding the tracking accuracy of the IDSN antenna farm. This report lists a tracking speed of 0.01 millidegree/second. I gather this is based on the requirement to track Chandrayaan in moon orbit during its visible track. Is there a physical limitation to the...

More black gold found... http://finance.indiainfo.com/2008/10/04/0810042142_ongc-pandey.html Isn't 100m a realy really shallow depth? Is this why gas replacement (carbon sequestration) recovery is being contemplated? I have my fingers crossed against dumping EU CO2 in these wells.
