The news says that the Akash-1S has already been tested. However, no news of the tests have ever been posted. Good news though that 2 additional regiments have been ordered for the Army. Any news on the order for additional 7 squadrons for the IAF? Last heard, it was still under price negotiations....

Some time back there were talks on Identifying Pvt Players to Build the Tejas Fighter which would help in expediting the Deliveries.

Since then, no news has been heard or movement seen. HAL in no way looks to meet the dead line with the current set of Infrastructure and the Projects on Hand.

KC-46 may be as expensive as Airbus. Sure that MOF shall reject the Funding.

IL-78 certainly looks to have an Upper Hand. Frequent Cancellations are only hurting the IAF as it been a Decade since it was Last Planned for.

INS Chenni is under Sea Trails hopefully should be commissioned soon. Worry shud be of P 28 whose induction is also pending along with the HAT of 2nd sub of Scorpene Class. All of them are running behind schedule. Yards should be penalized for late delivery & commissioning.

Is it True that Contract for 12 U-2I is also concluded with Japan. If so, then MOD is on a Roll to conclude Contracts.
