IMHO more Rafale will be ordered after we start receiving the first lot. The facilities are being put up for more than 2 squadrons.

Re: Alternative Methods for Repatriation/Extradition of Fugitive Criminals

The first thing is to fast track a hearing if the case, even if accused refuses to be present. Give them video access if legally required. Once a judgement is arrived, ask the country of refuge or interpol to stop shielding a criminal.

At least this approach should be possible in India.

In such critical areas we should have 2 teams working independently to produce solutions. There would be duplication of work as well as innovation. I know of instances where this approach was followed in software development for mission critical systems.

I am an advocate of evolutionary approach. I think that instead of designing AMCA around K10 it may be better to design it around the GE 414 and aim for an early induction, with the next iteration being a design around K10 or whatever is the latest reliable indigenous engine at that time.

I wonder what his father Pierre Trudeau would have said.

Saw him briefly on CNBC at IIMA Townhall. He came across as an international PAPPU. Even the lady anchor was embarrassed by his feminist talk.
