Yes Americans do it all the time to Iraqis That's one of the reasons why they're not everybody's best friend. I mentioned the camouflage trouser specifically because a uniform hints at combatant status - Iraqi civilians don't enjoy combatant status and can be handcuffed just like criminal suspects ...

That is a 9mm round, but no pistol round. The cartridge is 9x39mm, firing an extremely heavy projectile at subsonic speed.
