Haven't heard about HJT-36 Sitara or NAL Saras for a while. Does anyone has any insider info re: the status of these projects. Also any info re: LCH & LOH would be welcome. I think it would a good idea to post an update on the projects once a month, compiling info from various sources. Just my 2...

Re: Miscellaneous Pictures - Indian Military
Rahul, I call it sleazy because I see that in each and every celebration in our Indian military, u see any military exercise, army day, navy day, vijay diwas etc etc etc and frankly I don't see anything big in it. Then, as I don't have a military background, I did some research and found that not ju...

Well guys, just wanted to respond to the bashing on my "sleazy" comment. I had put H in IMHO in bold for a reason and I guess everyone missed that. What is so wrong when someone says that I have not seen that in USA. Is that an attack on India? Well, I was just sharing my experience. I liv...

As per wikipedia, ADA has consulted Mig and Mikoyan LMFS and MCA will be developed out of that collaboration. Wikipedia page states that Mikoyan LMFS will be 30% lighter than PAK FA. May be India and Russia is working on lighter 5th gen fighter on the lines of F-35. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

250 odd engines for the LCA might see some competitive jockeying by the Euros. why an order for 250 engines , the first 2 squadrons are probably going to be powered by the F-404 and remaining i.e 160 jets (tops) would need the Eurojet/ GE engine. Why do we need the extra 90 engines. Every airforce ...
