Philip, While I've heard that they are testing 3D thrust vectoring nozzles on the Viper, while MiG-35 which already has demonstrated its power was evident even on my flight. You are correct, the beam is electronically steered and hence it is not (does not need to) a rotodome as the chapati does not rotate.
