Either they should have let Ruskies field new Verba system which has 3 mode guidance plus higher range and altitude of interception with all digital systemand has entered Russian Army last year or should have opted of RBS-70NG , The latter is a beam rider and is very difficult to jam by any counter...

The so-called pearls also gives us juicy indefensible war-time targets.
we just need to do some extra work - tracking each and every asset moving in and out, which we can easily do with our satellites and planes/UAVs/sonars. I am sure, we are already noting down their magnetic and sonar signatures.

would not the heavier tank be inherently safer for the crew? it is no-brainer that crew will be safer inside Arjun v/s T-90.
what is the crew survivability inside lighter Arjun v/s heavier Arjun under various attacks: RPG, anti-tank mines, ATGM, Anti-tank rounds.

Are they planning a M88-Kaveri engine for Tejas Mk1A? this will need a round of testing and re-certification. will delay the procurement of Mk1A.

IMHO, M88-Kaveri should be used for Tejas Mk2 or M1B or whatever, without delaying the 83 M1A procurement.
