Finally upgraded to a DSLR .... with my limited SDRE budget went for EOS 1000D ... got an extra 55-250mm IS lens.... liking it so far... .... never used a DSLR before so finding it a bit complicated ..... but the good part is Canon offers workshop for beginners... hope that would help...
